  1. I've seen a few different ways done, magnets, elastic and Velcro, but really you wouldn't be able to fit much in them, I made my TD with removable ends but to date have never used it.
  2. Looking great, if you really wanted to pick the only thing I would say would be the gap and thickness on the ear
  3. For a little work it helps with the illusion of who is in there, it makes it hard to see inside the helmet when it's dark in there
  4. Grappling hook/box and comlink is not a problem as they are an option for a hero version, so is the different hand plates. Other differences are green bubble lenses, three ear bumps, 2 ear screws, only three teeth, holster has four mount points.
  5. As I mentioned to your GML you do need to send in reference material (photos/info) with a new to the legion costume. Guidelines for submitting new to the legion costumes is here: http://www.501st.com/databank/Costuming:CharacterApproval Seems the LMO has deemed the costume to need a finished CRL before anyone can be approved.
  6. There are guidelines for new character approval to the 501st: http://www.501st.com/databank/Costuming:CharacterApproval I am not sure about the legalities of the NDA from Anovos
  7. Only GML's and higher have access
  8. First application of a TFA Stormtrooper has been posted on the GML main boards, be interesting to see how it goes
  9. When you aren't in a rush there's more time to look over a problem and ponder solutions, not just rush to one conclusion . Looking forward to the rest of the build.
  10. Congrats and welcome to the ranks trooper
  11. I've seen lots of different ways, hot glue, double sided tape, silicon, gaffa tape, glue abs blocks and screw to that, pretty much what ever works.
  12. Looking good, just need to find a glue similar in other countries
  13. Looking good so far, I'm interested in a pair
  14. Hello and welcome aboard, as you say AP is available now and there is a wait for the Anovos. Also AP armor we now is approvable, the same can not be said about Anovos at this stage as nobody has seen as yet Good luck what ever you decide, lots of helpful people here to guide you on your journey
  15. Great work looks as if it's coming together nicely
  16. Hello and welcome aboard, I waited from 1977 until 2012 until I could get my first set of armor, take comfort in knowing there will be supplies available when you can afford it
  17. Great work, thanks for sharing
  18. You can modify an ATA to hero, I did it http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/23694-hero-bucket-build/
  19. Nice work. The ridges on the side of the sole may be needed for the higher levels, would you be looking at adding those later?.
  20. WOW that was worth missing out on the opportunity
  21. Congrats trooper and welcome to the ranks
