  1. I too suffer form OCD and did think why not make them white but I get that silver/grey is a generic color so I can live with it Heat exchange unit Oooow that would be great, cheers.
  2. I do like Christmas chocolates
  3. Hi David I have not seen any reference how they would be carried but that's not to say you couldn't add a pouch or even just a loop of Velcro to the belt for non approved troops, I use a pouch on my OTTK for carry that pair around, I was going to make a FOTK version binders but I see Disney parks have them with lights so hopefully I can get one of those one day. In regards to TFA as you say Poe is wearing some so I gather they were around then so they should really be added to both CRL's which both will be coming up for a revamp soon. All that would be needed is a photos of a pair for reference WOW check out that dudes backplate, must be aerodynamic for speed
  4. Great news, hope you manage to get hold of some approvable armor soon and join the ranks
  5. Have a look through some of the TFA build threads, you'll find a lot of different makes there
  6. You may just want to clean up a couple of the tube stripes so they match a little better
  7. Nice work trooper, a couple of additional things. Your ab/belt/cod area appears on an angle you may want to straighten Ab plate snap shouldn't be painted white Helmet brow is normally higher for Stunt versions, the Hero has lower brow. Shoulder straps not sitting central on back plate strap areas Forearms need to rotate so cover strips match biceps Large gap on strapping to drop boxes, only need a few mm's, also drop boxes need to align with end of the plastic belt section. Ideally the tube strips should fall from the top at the front Thigh ammo strip should use cap rivets and also positioned @ 10mm in from end (top/side) Large ab plate has been over trimmed, small plate could have some more trimming, button paint is also a little large Good luck with approval
  8. Nice fix. You may want to move those clips a little You also don't seem to have much gap between the end caps and panel Ab snap is normally a little higher
  9. Comic version is standard FOTK so could be a good push for FISD as an evolution costume of the rider
  10. Different thighs, shins, knee plates, boots, boot covers, forearms and handplate color is different in some images.
  11. Check in with your garrison command as others have suggested, locally we don't allow buckets off unless it's an emergency or for media
  12. A couple of threads which may be of help: https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/37384-anovos-left-shin-and-sniper-plate/ https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/35914-anovos-shins-help/ https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/37350-anovos-shins/ https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/35086-ukswraths-anovos-tk-build-stunt/page/3/?tab=comments#comment-464987
  13. Appears FISD may get another version of FOTK after all, tread speeder rider has a few differences from a standard FOTK
  14. Nice work trooper. I find with some of the buckles to double loop through the nylon or elastic helps keeping them nice and tight.
  15. Looking forward to seeing some photos. One of our DO's has 850 armor @shashachu I'm sure she'll be along and post some comments
  16. Pre build armor is fine, some find they need to tweak the strapping to get the right gaps but we can give you some feedback once you have some photos
  17. Hi Chris you may be better off posting in the FOTK build threads, TFA or TLJ you'll get a lot more feedback there. Lots of great build threads to follow so I'm sure you'll be fine. looking forward to seeing some photos soon.
  18. Congratulations trooper and welcome to the ranks. For EI there is no requirement in regards to weathering
  19. Looking forward to seeing the photos, welcome aboard
  20. And to round the hat trick off, Congratulations once again and welcome to the ranks trooper
  21. There are a couple of sith trooper groups on Facebook, just do a search for sith trooper and should come up. There is a CRL work in process over at Spec Ops Forum who should be looking after the Sithtrooper https://forum.specops501st.com/ With no actual armor made I'm a little skeptical about quality and I've not seen any of the files to check for details so it's really up to you to check references against what he is showing. Plenty of references posted on Spec Ops as well as here
  22. Congratulations trooper once again, looking forward to seeing you at EIB
  23. Nice work, you can trim the bottoms up to the cover strips so that gap won't be seen. You'll find you don't need a lot of E6000 and you can use a lot of clamps, magnets and painters tape to help them stay in place. I advise to add an inner cover strips at least on the shins as these are opened and closed a lot. As you see in the gallery there can be some gap between the sides of the cover strips and outer ridges
  24. Definitely looking nice
