Oddviking's ANH Stunt build - AM 4.5 (Centurion)
gmrhodes13 replied to OddViking327's topic in ANH Build Threads
Great work on the belt, one thing you could remove some excess material from the top and bottom Normally try to get the same gap at the elbow as the wrist, gives a better appearance. I don't use bicep hooks, many screen troopers didn't either, if they are sitting just right go without -
If you click the "join us" it goes directly to the 501st webpage. If he joins on the forum http://www.centralcaliforniagarrison.com/ccgforum/index.php I'm sure there will be a section for new recruits, generally it's better to introduce via forums rather direct emails command staff

Jakob's RWA ANH stunt build (aiming for centurion)
gmrhodes13 replied to Yacorp's topic in ANH Build Threads
Nice work, you could move your biceps upward this will give you more room at your elbows, perhaps bring your forearms upward a little too so they aren't touching your handplates Shoulder straps could do to be bent down on the back. You may also want to check you TD measurements, appears you more of a gap from panel to endcap on one side. Probably bring your left thigh down as it's hitting your cod I have had success before using painters tape to may templates, I printed some tube stripe templates, cut out the stripes and use that for a template for the painters tape. -
I've just done a quick Google search and Central California Garrison has attended events in Sacramento so I suggest getting in touch with them, website is here https://centralcaliforniagarrison.com/index.html

Hello and welcome to the forum, you will find many who have the original trilogy Stormtrooper armor from ANOVOS, they had a run a few years ago but unfortunately since then they have not been able to deliver more kits, there are issues with other armor which have not been going well, non delivery of preorders over 4 years. Once Anovos appeared to be a good supplier but due to non supply they have been taken off the recommended sellers list. Hope that info helps, good luck with your journey.

DarthBiscuit's R1TK Build (Jimmiroquai kit)
gmrhodes13 replied to DarthBiscuit's topic in Rogue One Build Threads
Love the suiting up video Yes that should work as an action shot, please don't break into a YMCA dance though Great to see you at pre approval, feedback left, good luck with approval, hope to see you will a TKID very soon. -
Nice work, great to see you at pre approval. I'm no R1 expert but a couple of things if I may Turn your legs inwards a little at the front, you want the cover strips straight up, centered, especially for the back as they appear on an angle Straighten back plate Bring your foreams up, will give you a bit of room at the hand plates, they appear to be hitting Looks like your left side ammo box has a gap? If you haven't already add some thin foam behind your drop boxes so they don't rub the paint off on your thighs. You could try some foam behind your sniper plate to help hold it away from the thigh Adjust your thigh straps on the sides so the clips can't be seen Tilt your head slightly backwards for the side and back photos Not sure if you can bring in the backplate at all, there is a bit of room there, perhaps shorter shoulder straps You may find you will have to trim the thighs a little more, appear to be touching the butt plate in the rear photo. Looking at the screen cap you could if you wanted too trim in the V or the butt plate a little, to give you more room to move, they appear quite narrow in the rear screen cap. Beautiful build and I'm sure after a few tweaks you won't have any problems getting approval. Good luck

Hello and welcome aboard, a few fuller length photos would best help us to help you. Most use an online free image host such as Imgur, some info in this thread If you are having an issue with height and armor being too big you may find some useful help in these builds https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/38416-crickets-rs-stunt-build-for-the-vertically-challenged/ https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/38842-fragarocks-rs-stunt-build-not-to-scale/ https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/42868-sha-shas-wtf-anh-stunt-build-complete/

HDPE helmet...starting from top to bottom
gmrhodes13 replied to DasVieh's topic in The Replica Section
Hello and welcome. The height of the brow can be changed depending on how your assemble the helmet, tilting the faceplate forwards or backwards can adjust the brow trim, you can also trim extra material in some cases to adjust the height. Looking forward to seeing your build progress, good luck For reference here's couple of Dan's build threads -
Hello and welcome aboard, looking forward to seeing your build

My Profile Data: I am expired for FISD
gmrhodes13 replied to TK 7448's topic in Forum Help & Support
Normally this happens if you have not logged into the forums on a regular basis. You could contact our DL @Sly11 to ask for a manual upgrade. -
That's a little annoying. You could still save it, glue some scrap plastic behind the crack, add a little ABS paste to the crack, sand and polish. As it is on the underside it won't be noticed

Jakob's RWA ANH stunt build (aiming for centurion)
gmrhodes13 replied to Yacorp's topic in ANH Build Threads
A good tip with templates is to paint white first, this should fill any areas that may bleed, then you can paint the desired color over the top. -

Looks much better, you will have to add some ABS paste to the other hole, sand and polish but it will be worth it in the end. -
Jason Tse Requesting Pre Approval Review (AP)
gmrhodes13 replied to JasonTse's topic in Request TK Pre-Approval
Hi there looks like you have a few dressing issues. Watch the position and spacing of your wrists, forearms, biceps and shoulders, all differ from one side to the other, try to even these. Your left thigh cover strip is a little long and should stop above the lower ridge. Also watch the position of your thighs and shins, cover strips should align Shoulder straps are sticking up at the back, may need some heat to curve these down. Backplate not sitting straight. TD not central Belt overlap on angle, can see a piece of the belt under the belt join Thighs are hitting the butt plate Your drop boxes should align with the ends of the plastic belt Also looks like your ab and kidney are too tightly held together and are overlapping, you may need to loosen the belt, even try adding some foam behind the ab or kidney to stop them from being pushed together. A few adjustments and I'm sure you will be fine. Good luck with approval -
For some hand guards I have had to use black silicon, seems some hand guards won't accept most glues
