I use dish liquid with all wet and dry sandpaper, old panel beater/painters trick

I normally start with a 180 wet and dry and use water with a little dish liquid in, helps the paper to glide and doesn't block as fast. It does take some time to get it smooth, then you can go through other grades, 240, 400, 600 and I finish with a 1200. You then can either compound and polish or you may need to touch up with paint, some ABS paste won't dry completely the same color and can also leave small air holes, there you would need to add a little filler/bondo then prime and paint.

Lots of build threads of troopers over 6' so it's not impossible, we have a few locally, AM or RT do fit the taller trooper.

Nice work, you will find with some armor you may need to trim between some of the pieces, your cod is sitting very low over your thighs but to bring the ab up you will need to reduce the length of the back pieces or they will overlap. They wait is unbearable, but lots of time to do your research, perhaps a blaster build or two, prepare a work space, reference material and tools. Soon it will BBB time and then the panic sets in
