  1. Hello and welcome aboard/back, here is a great thread you may find of help on your journey
  2. Paint thinner will melt the plastic, being an acetone it's what some use for making ABS paste. You could try an automotive buffing compound/polish
  3. If you use the "direct link" to the Imgur image it will show in your thread, you need to use the link with the image tag, ie .jpeg Coming along nicely
  4. If it was me I'd do all new photos kitted up, it will complete your application rather than using some with the logo still on. Also note any comments already made as well as check for gaps and position, this image your drop box is on an angle. You find at times the photographer doesn't know what to look out for, having a mirror handy can help you spot any potential issues You also have a bigger gap at the bottom of your ab/kidney sides, if you could even those out would look better. Appears the top of the kidney is overlapping the ab in this image. Action photo pose is entirely up to the individual, you could look through the EI gallery to see what others have done
  5. Kit from local hardware, you can also find them online/ebay
  6. FYI you will need to supply another action photo now that you have removed the UKG branding as once approved the action image is used for the Expert Infantry Honor Gallery
  7. A few options, purchase one from a store, sometimes the sell off older mannequins, local sales groups sometimes offer them for sale, they can be a little expensive if you are looking at new. Make a duck tape mannequin Make a pipe mannequin or or You can also purchase adjustable joints for pipe mannequins https://www.amazon.com.au/Adjustable-Joint-Fitting-2-5cm-Elbow/dp/B00C7WST34
  8. Have you checked in the First Order Battle Group section? The whole section is devoted to First Order costumes. Vendors List
  9. You will find links to most tricks and tips in this thread And when in doubt check with our gallery sections https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/gallery/ Make sure you check with the CRL when building so you include all the EIB requirements https://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TK_anh_stunt And if building to EIB why not take that extra step and build to centurion, there really isn't that much work You can also check the EIB photo requirements here For adjusting your old kit to your partners sizing check out a few of these threads https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/38416-crickets-rs-stunt-build-for-the-vertically-challenged/ https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/38842-fragarocks-rs-stunt-build-not-to-scale/ https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/42868-sha-shas-wtf-anh-stunt-build-complete/ Good luck, looking forward to seeing your BBB photos soon.

  11. Thread moved. Looking forward to seeing the progress
  12. Thread moved as requested
  13. Downside to 3D printed parts, the never ending sanding. I try to give a general sand then use 3 or 4 coats of spray putty which fills up any remaining lines.
  14. Sarah the DL at the time moved the Skytrooper to Spec Ops 4th December 2019. Luckily Spec Opps dropped the then FISD L3 jet pack requirement Jetpack thrusters shall actually work and jetpack shall be able to actually hover for at least 30 seconds.
  15. Congratulations trooper and welcome to the ranks
  16. Hello and welcome to the forum Roo (I'll call you Kang) (Kangaroo ) Good luck with the resources thread should be of help
  17. This is a post our DL made in the Cardinal Black Series thread "I have spoken with the LMO's (legion membership liaison's) and they are ok with this to go ahead. There are a few things they would like to see in your thread with regards to research. 1. TFA helmet is what the LMO's are leaning towards as this is a TFA era character that was gone before TLJ (yeah I know Hasbro used the TLJ helmet, but it's a conversation you and I can have) 2. They would like to see research from cross-referencing as cardinal has a description in the book and now the action figure that should take care of any parts that are different from the standard Storm troopers."
  18. Never too late to add to your build threads It's a very nice bin indeed
  19. If it's just the boots the CRL guide allows references from figures so really it shouldn't be an issue and I would think the LMO's would allow standard FOTK boots in red An action figure or statue may be used as supplemental reference, but cannot not be the sole reference For anyone following this Shawn @CrookKnight hasn't updated his build thread since June so no idea how far he has gotten in regards to CRL photos or indeed if he's finished his build.
  20. Great to see you are following the base weathering, same as the TKC and TFU versions, I also mimicked the base weathering in my TFU build
