  1. Unfortunate but yes very short, you would find when you walk and even bend the knees slightly the shins would come out over the top and could get stuck when trying to move back.
  2. I used an automotive satin black paint, dried pretty quickly, there was some fumes noticeable but after leaving it for a week it seemed to be ok. Some use Plasti-dip A couple of threads may be of interest (there are many more )
  3. Don't be too worried, just remember measure twice and cut once, if you don't know then ask and if you're in a hurry we have our gallery sections for references https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/gallery/ Some helpful links I posted on another's thread this morning: A lot of helpful links here: Post lots of photos it's one of the best ways to get feedback, sometimes we can see something before you may act Good luck, now on to that researching
  4. Great to see you back at this. For small cracks I use the 2pack epoxy glue, for anything that will need filling I use Devcon, takes a while to dry but it is sandable., I find both those glues holds a lot better than E6000 and doesn't flex, add some ABS pieces behind, rough both surfaces with sandpaper so it's gives the glue something to grip too. Some use superglue but I just prefer 2pack epoxy glue or Devcon.

  7. Looks great, crayon, chalk or liquid paper all work well, just depends what you have handing. Going over with a coat of satin clear will help protect the white from coming off easily
  8. Noting better than BBB day, exciting times, hope you've done your homework Golden rules measure twice and cut once, the other don't be afraid to ask questions, the forum is full of helpful builds and information but some can be buried and not easily found so if in doubt please ask Good luck with the build looking forward to seeing the progress

  12. You could try a warm water bath, a lot of plastics will give when warm. If not automotive electrical wire covering is usually pretty soft
  13. TK Boots no longer supply, most go through Imperial Boots, they open up once a month for orders, next opening 4th February https://www.imperialboots.com/

  16. Hello and welcome aboard, also look through some of the other build threads, great way to pick up pointers.
  17. Hello and welcome aboard, here is a good thread full of helpful info
  18. Congratulations trooper and welcome to the EI ranks
  19. Some have separated their cod, not much advantage really, don't find that area is really an issue bending, it's more for the shorter trooper so they can remove some of the height, but should be no issues for basic approval, all must be hidden behind the belt though. Yes the Anovos helmet is a Stunt version, you would need different ears, bubble lenses, also need to fill/push out two teeth as there are only 6 on Hero versions. Hero and Stunt are two version of the same armor. 21. There ares so many different ways to mount the lenses. Here's just a few ways An interesting simple way Personally I hold in place and apply black silicone around to hold it, leave it 24-48 hours and done.

  23. I used some heavy magnets either side and a small spanner vertically across the middle of the lens which helped the lens stay curved and up tight against the rim of the lens. You could also try a little heat to help form them into place, down side you would have to keep a hold of them while cooling, don't want them too hot or you could damages the lens.
  24. Not quite sure what that is but it's not your membership profile link, it should be this https://www.501st.com/members/displaymemberdetails.php?userID=22636
