  1. Even with cut outs we still can't bend our knees fully, makes for an awkward looking crap walk getting up stairs. Nice work on those cut outs
  2. 2.5cm (1") Between top of holster to bottom of belt Updated versions with variant spacing

  4. Getting started section will help you on your way You can also check out this thread full of helpful info
  5. That's your forum profile, not your membership profile, which is this https://www.501st.com/members/displaymemberdetails.php?userID=10903

  7. I had to trim a small amount from my butt plate so the side is aligned with the kidney, but also cut out a notch in the kidney Couple of examples of mine
  8. Looking good just a couple of tweaks. Right thigh has rotated out so not matching the left You could lift the belt up just a tad but that's more for higher levels Although you have a shim on the side between the ab and kidney there is still a small opening showing black, you may be able to tighten the strapping. FYI seams would need to be filled for higher levels Drop boxes elastic may be a bit tight, they don't sit down under the belt very well and this one not aligned with the end of the belt. Also your shoulder straps are sitting a little high at the back. Don't see anything major that should hold you up, mainly just some tweaks. Good luck with approval and hope to see you apply for EIB and Centurion
  9. Looking good, a few tweaks here and there and you should be good to go

  11. It's definitely a stress point and will crack over time, I've added abs behind twice now as well as some JB weld but it's just one of those areas which needs attention and repair. Be great if we could have had the hinge system like Phasma Or the early prototype Anovos
  12. Not sure what links you are trying to add, have a look at this post in regards to posting images. Looking forward to seeing the progress
  13. Looks like a reaction with the paint below, make sure all the old paint is removed and only apply thin coats, can take several coats and days until you get a final product
  14. I use a block of foam either side of the head and a thin piece of foam in the top, works well for me and it's a cheap option. Similar to the maple leaf design of the originals There are also these which a lot of people use although I find them a little hard when compressed
  15. This means your status of membership has been changed to retired, you will need to contact either your GCO or GML. You can find garrison email addresses here: https://www.501st.com/members/displayUnits.php#garrisons

  17. Have you looked at some of the build threads https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/86-hwt-build-threads/ Richard has a nice build Joseph's pack specs There is also the HWT CRL to reference https://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TK_hwt
  18. A great thread on return edges here Looking forward to seeing your build progress
  19. Entirely up to you what you do, the common general appearance is mainly used for reference with applications, what you change now could save some wait time when possibly pointed out by the DO's. The reference images you show are not from the movie, they are from the Propstore who did resell some blasters over the years, normally only screen images are used for reference purposes by the DO's
  20. Nice work trooper, you may just want to give that Hengstler a little twist For reference
  21. We recommend looking at the vetted sellers list, there are other makers out there, if you have a look through some of the build threads you can see what they are like, many builds have makers initials in the title of the pages. Sure you can find some cheap suits on eBay and Etsy BUT many of these are re-casted poor copies, unfortunately this isn't a cheap hobby if you want to do it right and are seeking 501st legion membership approval Research is also the key

  23. Foam trooper would not achieve 501st Legion approval. If you do a search for originalstormtrooper.com or stormtrooper-costumes.com youll find many negative comments about them and accuracy is poor
