  1. I wonder if they could be shared here too hint hint
  2. Try using the "direct link" option in Imgur, or if on computer right click on the image, select copy then post into your thread.
  3. You are only allowed to attach so many images, many of us use a free image host like Imgur, upload your images there then copy and paste the link into your post. A how to here
  4. Nice work, just a couple of things that stand out, it's up to your GML (garrison membership liaison) if they will approve these or not. Your large ab plate has been trimmed too much, should have a base around it. Thighs could come up a touch, you have a big gap there and your left thigh is overlapping your sniper plate. Adding some foam behind the sniper plate can help push it outwards and away from the thigh. Kidney sides are being pushed out the sides, adding some tabs behind so they fit behind the ab can help them from coming outwards. You could also drop your forearms a little to give you more gap at the elbows and less gap between them and the gloves. Ab button paint is a touch large. Belt should sit just under the bottom ab button The top of the ABS belt shall sit at or just above the bottom of the central and vertical ab button panels. A slight overlap is suggested, but not required. Fall of the tube stripes should be from top to bottom Kidney should match the abdomen on the sides. Should also have rivets on the sides, 3 on abdomen and 3 on kidney Although not needed for basic approval For Level 3, three domed head bifurcated (split) rivets approximately 5/16" (8mm) in diameter are present on the left side of the abdomen and kidney and are equally spaced along the depth of the armor and are painted white. Note that the measurements are from the center of the rivet. Rivets on both kidney and ab should line up horizontally. Belt corners are too large, should meet the ends of the fabric belt Again only for higher levels but your GML may or may not approve For Level 3, the corners of the plastic ammo belt shall be trimmed at a 45 degree angle that meets the outer edge of the cloth belt. Detonator sitting too high and should have black screws. Belt could be trimmed so it ends just at the end of the detonator You could also trim the large tabs off your shoulder straps on the rear but again this is for higher levels NOTE: As seen in the photos below, there are no large tabs on the rear of the shoulder bridges. This is not specifically mentioned in the CRL, but removing them is highly recommended if possible. Your helmet is sitting quite high on the back, you may be able to reduce the padding. Right corner of backplate overlapping the kidney, the left is inside the kidney. Also check your gaps between the control panel and end caps on your detonator as they look quite small Not sure if that's a slot or a marker mark behind the lower ear screw, may need to clean this up (or add abs paste if it's a slot/hole) So mostly a few adjustments needed for basic and a few additions for higher levels. Also in regards to taking your photos you should try to use a contrasting background, makes your GML/GWL life a little easier for editing (and also for EIB if you are applying for that) Good luck and hope to see you approved very soon
  5. All the best for the festive season. Don't forget to request higher access here
  6. For 3D prints I use gorilla superglue with a spray kicker, dries pretty much instantaneity, you do need to make sure you have all parts aligned properly though I also add a small V between the pieces then fill with bondo, helps to cover join line.
  7. If you have skinny arms (like me) you can add some foam inside pieces like forearms, biceps, thighs, to help them stay central to your body. Tighter strapping on your biceps a definite. Biceps look like they could come up a little too which will give you a little more room at your elbows. Many can put on all armor pieces, some can't, usually depends on how long your arms are as well as length of the armor pieces. Note drop boxes should align with the end of the plastic belt, many add a drop of E6000 glue to the straps behind the belt to hold them in that position. Depending on how the cod/ butt plate sit you may need to bring the armor upwards a little, Luke's chest overlaps his ab plate at times, just depends on your height and how the armor sits
  8. Many purchase compression clothing from sporting stores or Amazon Something like these, if you can get without logo's or where the logos will be covered https://www.amazon.com.au/TSLA-Compression-Athletic-Workout-MUD31-NVY/dp/B08MPWRBS2/ref=sr_1_9?adgrpid=112443432135&gclid=CjwKCAiAp7GcBhA0EiwA9U0mthhzSlsLJJwWIZkcCVDB8cRy9mJR2ggef9VERI6ezmY6IJfL1Hr1oRoCXisQAvD_BwE&hvadid=591072705997&hvdev=c&hvlocphy=9070529&hvnetw=g&hvqmt=b&hvrand=2562632197465609365&hvtargid=kwd-634263338597&hydadcr=3830_355126&keywords=compression+clothing+amazon&qid=1670189103&sr=8-9 https://www.amazon.com.au/TSLA-Compression-Athletic-Leggings-MUC28-ABK/dp/B09DKCFGJ2?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1&psc=1
  9. Hello Brent and welcome aboard, I found trooping in my TK much more comfortable compared with the clone trooper. Some great threads full of info: https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/38-getting-started-read-this-first/
  10. I use elastic straps and snaps, I find this allows some give when you bend especially for bending really low, then will pull back in position when standing upright. V Tabs looking good, I've only used one either side to date, normally it's enough but I also have more elastic strapping. For anyone following the closer to the ends the V tabs are the better as they stop the plates from opening up. (pre double snaps)
  11. Looking forward to seeing the progress, just remember measure twice so they can cut once
  12. This won't end well, some may not understand why the costume may not be approved straight out of the box, although I'm sure a few will slip through with some GML's, I can just hear "but this guy got approved without making changes". Oh and yes I know this can happen with any makers armor. I'm still waiting to see the excerpts from their "professional Stormtrooper builders" and what experience those professionals have and to what standards do they build, costume, screen accuracy or club inclusion. "All together you should have enough to cover the essentials to start your build into the becoming a stormtrooper. In our next piece of this series, we are going to cover The Gotta Haves vs Nice to Haves - excerpts pulled from some professional Stormtrooper builders out there who have done and seen it all themselves!"

  14. Congratulations trooper and welcome to the Centurion ranks, well done
  15. I made my own, wasn't that hard, you can find a lot of heads you can paint or modify, well not on the cheaper figs they are just a ball on a neck
  16. Normally we post build threads here https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/80-anh-build-threads/ Pre approval thread https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/193-request-tk-pre-approval/ The pre approval thread is more to check that you look right before you submit to your GML (garrison membership liaison), you don't HAVE to post there but it's great to get feedback, especially if you are looking at higher level approvals.
  17. You may find you receive more feedback if you post photos directly into your build thread, many of us use Imgur a free image host, great how to here This thread is full of helpful tips When in doubt we have a huge gallery section full of references https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/gallery/ Good luck with the build, looking forward to seeing the progress
  18. Best check with the @Deployment Officer Team for higher level approval. I started getting some bleed though after wearing mine a few times.
  19. Great to hear you are still on track
  20. Great to hear, welcome to the ranks trooper, once you have your numbers you can request higher forum access here
  21. Looking good, unfortunately Paul you will have to remove your UKG tag from the shoulder bell, this has come up quite a few times in the past, some have a second shoulder bell for this reason. Or tape over the decal, carefully lift each corner and peel off with the top tape, then add back on when your photos have been taken "Here is just one post in an application by a DO asking for it's removal, again there are more and this has always been the case since I've been a member, most will seek L2 and L3 approval and once approved just have decals applied again,"

  23. Some have RS and are happy. Look through some of the EIB or Centurion threads for sizing and quality here's a couple (just look for RS in the title)
  24. At times it's just a few tweaks with strapping so hopefully you won't have too much to adjust. Looking forward to the BBB photos soon
  25. I would add side shims to the Kidney, the gap is a little large, you may get basic approval as is but you would need to discuss that with your GML, some are a little stricter than others. Also you could trim some return edge off the backplate, you have quite a lot of material still there
