  1. Adding a L or R with marker inside of parts can help My lower insides of the shins are trimmed a little more than the outsides, makes it easy to tell which is which
  2. One hovi tip awaiting collection
  3. Congratulations trooper and welcome to the Expert Infantry ranks and the EI Honor Gallery
  4. If you haven't already you can rough up the surfaces prior to gluing, makes the glue grip better
  5. Can you post an image, I've not seen one of hers. Usually harness is attached to the ab/kidney section, with either velcro or snaps.
  6. I think he means garter, something like these
  7. With any pieces that will be under some strain (example biceps) I let the glue cure for 48 to 72 hours just to make sure they are fully dried and hold before adding the other side coverstrips
  8. Looking forward to seeing the progress, good luck
  9. Came out well, nice work
  10. AM is built for the bigger trooper so there is excess material on the sides you should be able to trim. Although an earlier version of AM (V1) @ukswrath has a great AM build that could be helpful
  11. Looking forward to seeing the progress
  12. Sorry, haven't checked as been down with covid then rushing to set up supanova, send me a reminder pm on our forum on Monday if you remember
  13. Congratulations trooper and welcome to the ranks trooper
  14. Unfortunately some threads had out of date information as well as non recoverable images (photobucket fiasco) or link no longer works due to forum migrations, as such some have been archived. Updated list of info and how to threads here
  15. Looking good. make sure you do a test fit, painters masking tape is good to hold pieces in place while testing
  16. The first cut is always the hardest A great thread from @justjoseph63on return edges you may find handy Good luck with the rest of the build
  17. A great thread from @justjoseph63 on return edges, he trimmed all of his from his elbows And you can see here it all removed from a screen used forearm/bicep
  18. You could add side shims, some have done that before, it's a case of splitting on the sides (if joined), expand to desired length, glue a piece of plastic behind, then glue a piece of plastic into the gap between the sides, you could then fill with ABS paste or automotive filler (bondo), the joins need to be filled as the sides don't have seams on screen seen armor. ABS Paste Shims (original trilogy with only one side needing to be filled, but will give you and idea) Another here
  19. Those strap covers look great, nice work
  20. If it's along cover strips you can use scrap plastic, when it gets dull just cut a little off, thumb for less stubborn areas and sometimes a slightly wet rag can help.
  21. Double strapping will normally help, BUT you don't have the other pieces pulling the chest and ab down so that area will pull out the way you are wearing it
  22. You need to add a link to your legion membership profile, have a read of the first post in this thread
  23. All good things come to he who wait, or not Welcome aboard trooper
  24. Doesn't hurt just to check how it's all aligning
