1. Various European companies made them,
iirr.

Aye, as well the jabba palace guard as the Kanan Jarrus are built without the original rear sight.

Most of my rear sights are slightly different. But the base that is needed for the ROTJ is on all the same.
2. Forgot to mention - the base gun is a StG 44, and Denix offers a replica.
3. The gun itself is used by many of jabba's guards. It's the one Luke draws from a guards holster when in front of jabba. Or when Han shoots at the Sarlacc.

Also the base gun for Kanada Jahres in Rebels.
4. It's indeed the same base gun with just another barrel.
5. Build 2 - one for approval and formal events (if there are any you can/want to be part of) - and a second for cons, parades, whatever.
6. In Germany - add price and shipping, then put 19% on top of that. Depending on item there might be additional % - mostly between 3 to 8%.
7. Call it like you want. If it is cast or copied makes no difference. If he had worked purely from movie screenpics, no problem. But he copied from pics of another armor for sale, that is no artist, just a stealing copy-rat.
8. I did, several times. And i´m still satisfied how each worked out.
9. You did. And that you had access to the build threads and pics means not that you are allowed to use it to copy others work.
10. I assume you are kidding? What do you think how expensive paintings were forged, by stealing them and make casts? With your own explanation i call you copying of the Anovos suits, no matter if you changed some details and how you made it - YOU used THEIR hard work to make your armor to sell and get some illegal income.
11. Mistakes happen, but your work looks good.
12. Atm. the only answer that seems safe for me is "Jimmiroquay".
13. Wait - using a Anovos suit to make his molds ...... where would that be different from using his suit to make other molds? Just cause one handcrafted his, and the other may have used scans and 3d machining, ....... that´s not that far from each other than the methods.
14. Well, i would call that a lie - if anything then you want to have him out of offering them so you can sell your stuff to get the peoples hard earned money. Please, dont´try to fool the people, you don´t do this for anyone than yourself.
15. There is next to no work needed directly on the Sterling. Resin is a good start. If you can live with it, perfect - if you don´t like it anymore, just replace it with the more expensive (todays completely overpriced) real parts.
16. I do, here and on other forums. Before my prop-time i was mainly a modellbuilder, and i mastered several SW resin-kits. Some of them are offered since many years, each with my name on it. I don´t say noone should do this bootleg thing, i just wish people would accept that it is not their "right". Enjoy what you do, and if someone else uses your work to make his own offers - accept that you have no "right" on it. Convince the buyers with better quality and customer service to go for your stuff, instead of starting such witchhunts. And if nothing else ..... losing some (sideway) business may give you some more time for your family and hobbies. It´s a hobby and it should be fun. Otherwise go and get a license and make it for real business, with taxes and all.
17. I have Anovos. It´s not that you try to protect your "rights" (but i still believe there can be no "rights" on stolen property, and that´s imo for all unlicensed stuff being sold - if it happens it´s just bad luck the maker has to get over), it´s the way you do/did.
18. No threats from my side, i´m not involved with any party. But i see one guy hunting another without anything i would consider "proof" - and no matter what comes out at the end, even if he is not guilty, you can´t wash away all the thrown mud. A damaged reputation will stay. So ..... it´s just my expression of what i hope will happen to punish the mudslinger.
