  1. I paid 132 for FedEx, so not sure what disturbs you? What they declare is not your problem, it´s theirs. At the end it only counts that all declared amounts combined are the same than the amount you paid (and that you can proove to the customs with a print of your according paypal transaction).
  2. If it will be handled correctly, the second invoice should consist the 50$ AND additional the paid shipping, as you have to pay VAT and fees for both. Under the line the complete paid amount will be used to calculate the VAT plus fees. Iirr my total paid amount was 492$ (i had a additional 10$ for a tribble). In my case that should mean 300 for the first parcel, and 192 for the second. VAT and fees will be due to the complete amount.
  3. I´ve done that for a living for many years, handling customs - but i still don´t understand your problem. (only the part you say you paid more for shipping than you got.) What have you paid for shipping? What was your lumpsum paid price? Have you checked your invoice on the BBB? What was the listed amount? On my included commercial invoice for this part shipment (BBB with plastic parts) a amount of 300$ is listed only, and i assume the other part of the paid amount i will see on the invoice comming with the second parcel with the soft parts. Both invoices together will probably be the amount i paid long ago. It looks to me you are not very experienced in handling customs?
  4. First USPS was more, but now FedEx shipping is more expensive? So you had to pay more? That leads to higher taxes? What? Before complaining you should wait for the second part shippment, then the FedEx invoice, and then what comes out at the end.
  5. I ordered on 19/04 and got my BBB this friday. And i didn´t even know if it has shipped until i opened my door and there it was waiting.
  6. That are only the mains, there are so much more. But i only have 5 MGC Mausers, the last one is for making a MerrSonn.
  7. I always got a answer within 24 hours. The only thing i never got was a shipping notice for my BBB - and it shipped way to late for the date of my order placement.
  8. I have some ..... but i don´t "use" them. ANH. ANH (Greedo Killer): ESB (Hoth version): ROTJ:
  9. Maybe, but not neccessarily. There´s always the argument with having done the major work for the 501st TFA suits. But i don´t think the armor will be seen soon - as they usually announce the stuff, then collect the money in tiers, and only some (or more) time later the stuff is seen on shipping notices.
  10. Got my box yesterday, indeed the sturdiness of the belt is not really impressive. And on the other side - the holster is hard as a brick.
  11. No tax? Or no duty/custom fee? I can´t believe there is a country without VAT.
  12. I´m asking cause as far as i know it is indeed one part, but as you do this for printing it makes sense, off course.
  13. Maybe your demand is nothing they care about? Or maybe just Disney isn´t ? At such business there is not a single step Anovos (or any other company) can do that wasn´t given Disneys proof and OK.
  14. I just got the t-tracks i ordered from Roy - ordered this week and got them friday. 6 of 13cm and 6 of 19cm. As far as i know there are no parts available for the left sided feedslot-cover, there you best look at those threads where peopla are making those gorgeous selfmade DLTs. Other than drilling some holes i plan on adding the missing halfround rivetheads on some places.
  15. Nice work, but ..... Are you sure the yellow funnel and the blue ring are separate parts? Or did you make it 2 just for printing?
  16. With any kit you only buy the raw material - think about it like a batch of fabric. No matter how accurate the fabric is, if it isn´t sewn into the correct shape/pattern, it´s no good. Same with the assembling of a armor suit.
  17. As far as i remember there was only speculation that Anovos might have made them, but the leaked pics don´t look that way.
  18. Yeah, sorry - my english is not so good. I should have written something like "I can imagine that the affected customers" ..... or something that way.
  19. Thats the way if someone wants to complain about the armor itself. I agree. But the licensing comes from D, - and so the question above should be addressed to them. And if nothing comes from it than having them look closer/different when giving out future licenses, it´s already a good question.
  20. No Steve, your getting something wrong. I´m against anything upfront to Anovos, cause it would fit some peoples bill/bankaccount. Just wait, atm. i see nothing that would stop this suit from beeing accepted after some minor changes (and even the beltrivets are questionable, as the combination can be seen on screen). I don´t have my Anovos yet. i´m still waiting. And without having it in hand i havn´t even made up my decision on it, yet. Atm. the more i read i think i´m not impressed, as it still has to much of the wonkyness of the old suits - and i can´t blame them therefor but not the Anovos. But i might find it acceptable - no matter, i first need to have it in hand to check that myself. Additional .... "I" is just my generalizing for what people might do when pissed. "I" is not "me", as i don´t plan to join, no matter what suit. I´m here cause i like stormtroopers, not cause i like costuming.
  21. I know that all - but i still would stir the pot as much as possible to get Disney acting. They might not have any say at 501, but with enough customers complaining they might dismiss the 501 and use own Troopers.
  22. Bad idea. If i would buy a licensed armor and 501 would tell me "no chance to join without major changes" - i would immediatly ask Disney how it can happen that they allow unlicensed armor at events while i have to stay out with my licensed one. Pretty sure such would open a funny can of dancing worms.
  23. Unfortunately it´s just my wish, not an advice. I would dance around a burning AT-AT if i can find a rotary tool that gives me those tech specs with good bearings. My intention with all the above was just - don´t overthink it. As long as you´re only working on such stuff from time to time, it´s not really complicated. You don´t need the state of the art (what is not really out there), just don´t get the cheapest stuff that looks broken on the shelf already.
