  1. this hand plate mod should work as well but Sonnenschein's are the best!! http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=13491&st=0&p=163147&fromsearch=1entry163147
  2. your strapping seems to need some tweaking you should have straps connecting the cod and but plate, this will prevent the tail look and cod from protruding. also you need straps to keep the chest and back together. there are other small strapping malfunctions as well. if you re adjust your back and chest the shoulder straps should stay attached with Velcro just fine, but you may need to heat and bend them slightly. the armor looks great! just a few strapping fixes and you should be good to go perhaps someone in your garrison can assist you, it is hard to get it set up by yourself.
  3. ya i looked at sears for one of those sanders after i first saw this
  4. looks good from those shots
  5. if you sand it down with wet dry sandpaper and primer/paint it, the bumps shouldn't be very noticeable (if at all). also if you just replace the back, the parts may not fit correctly. most legitimate armor types differ in size and shape slightly be sure to look through all the ATA build threads it is a nice helmet when assembled and painted
  6. if you test the paint, be sure to test it pre-thinned for spray application. the paint alone may be fine, but when thinned for spraying it may not. some enamel thinners/reducers react to plastic badly... hope it works!
  7. i am really liking this build already great work!!! this is looking to be quite informative.
  8. i was thinking of making a Dremel use and safety guide it may prevent this from happening
  9. good to go approved! and happy holidays

  12. Approved ! new animal control officer?
  13. this will make RT EIB # 6
  14. just another shot form the rear with the belt on (showing the cut butt plate below the belt), and a action shot for your EIB photo lookin good
  15. always paint after gluing, otherwise the glue bonds to the paint not the plastic and like stated above 400-600 grit wet/dry is good, i use a sanding sponge a lot these days, they last a lot longer
  16. it has several different sounds that can be altered (pitch and speed) i only demonstrated a couple after the holidays i will start work on a new sound board with programmable sounds/ usb interface and super bright LED's i need something more specialized for HWT bazookas
  17. you can always shoot for dual EIB heavy trooper + ANH or ESB
  18. i added a fully functional control panel and internal electronics (with a DIY plasma generator) VID (all blasters are kid tested and trooper approved) JK
  19. you will need to request 501st access to view the ATA sale, it is in the 501st only sale section request access----------
  20. have a awesome birthday!!! thanks for all your hard work and dedication to the FISD!
  21. you need to use this much elastic for the biceps... JK, i used the 3/4"
  22. i dont understand why it was only 1/2 fixed anyway???? if you are going to take the time to improve one part, why not fix all the parts, especially the most critical?????
  23. i think those are most defiantly fake you should send them to me for proper authentication... JK
  24. there are several sources for resin counters.. from this site and Ebay, or you can make one from scratch (the blueprints are available).. post a WTB thread here or look on the bay sweet helmet BTW
  25. i have never heard a hasbro, but if the unwanted sound is before or after the wanted sound you could add a micro-switch to the trigger , it could be positioned to cut off the speaker at the correct time to eliminate the unwanted sound... that is the only practical way i can see doing it without re flashing the ROM chip. i dont believe cutting wires will help the more advanced way would be to make a filter to cut off the unwanted frequency range. but that would be overkill.. i could do up a how-to easy enough but i dont have a hasbro.. ill make up a wiring diagram if i can make time if somebody could post up pics of the internals, and upload an audio clip of the sound. that would help
