Hello, my name is Maria and I’m new to the group. I’m a 54 year old single mom and it’s been my 20 year wish to be a member of the 501st legion. I’m not handy nor a builder but my son and I are committed to try to get me (and maybe him) into the legion so I can be a stormtrooper at least once before I die (or Alderan blows up again).

Quick little update! As we know, the included panel is too tall for the included fabric pouches in the Denuo Novo kit. I took some measurements, and it's about an inch too tall. So, I took it upon myself to model this in fusion 360, so I could 3D print this instead of buying new pouches! Here it is: If anyone finds themselves needing the file down the line, Im more than happy to send it over to you! I can also put it in the 3D file depository. Hope this helps!

Ha, yeah, flipping off those rebel scum . Thanks for the tips and encouragement. I retired last summer and recently got a part time gig at REI, I'll be working the next three days but will have some time after that to work on the ears. Then, more hand surgery on Friday for carpal tunnel syndrome from the swelling from the original surgery. After a couple weeks, maybe sooner, I may be able to get back to it. I should have some updated photos by Thursday. thanks again.

We will definitely have that in the CRL, both for armour and weapons. Once I have the Wiki Origin document set up with the layout, those messages will be added in and examples will be posted, so all can see how the CRL will start to look as a finished product.

Hi John, Congratulations on joining the ranks and it is great to see you will be trying for Expert Infantry and hopefully Centurion. With respect to the helmet, as Glen mentioned, the Level 3 CRL states “Ideally, placement of ears (and screws) should closely follow the rear angle of the trap above them” As this is a Level 3 (centurion) requirement, it would not affect your EIB application at all. As the CRL states "Ideally", we do not reject applications if they are not perfectly aligned and therefore it will not affect EIB or centurion approval References For the thermal detonator, Ideally the screws should be a bit smaller and not as close to the edge of the clip as they are but I would say that it would still pass based on the CRL description.

Dick's Sporting Goods DSG house brand of compression pants and top. They have a phone pouch that hides right behind your thigh armor and are well priced. I own 5 pairs. They have a winter version as well which are nice when it's chilly.

Compression top and bottom work well for me, great for hot weather, on long troops I carry a spare set so I can stay nice and fresh. I also got a cotton set which I wear underneath my compression set for really cold troops, helps having that little bit extra warmth some times/ Luckily managed to find both at a local chain store, I hear others have purchased from Amazon or sporting stores. Having the two piece allows a toilet break in armor, just have to adjust the cod to the side and be careful not to pinch anything
