Some great files by Michael Baddeley on Facebook, you have to join his patreon but it's well worth it for the amount of files you receive Not an R2 but have done some larger droid builds, latest is an IG-12, 3/4 printed so far. Battle droid was my first project, all done on 2 x 220mm x 220mm bed printers, that took some time

Really don't think these decisions should be made in a vacuum, with just a few voices. This is the shoretrooper all over again.

Hi all! Looking to understand the differences between the ANH Stunt kits of these two companies. Maybe somebody with more experience can help clarify a couple things for me. 1. I read that both RS and AP are ANH derived but that RS is the only 1st Generation cast of an original ANH armor. What does that mean and what's the difference between the way AP is ANH derived? 2. The thickness of RS is 1.5mm and on the various types of armor and where to find them thread it says that the AP is .080. I also read on other threads that RS could feel thin (Although yes I know the screenused armor was 1.5mm) Does that mean that the AP could be much flimsier? Any experiences or straight comparisons would be much appreciated. 3. If I order armor already built with my submitted measurements from either RS or AP will I still need to do some adjustments when it gets to me before it is approvable? Or is it literally an out of the box experience? 4. RS has much more of an online presence than AP, however, whenever I talk to friends from the 501st they're essentially regarded in the same league. I know that there is no "best" armor out there, but what would you guys say in regards to this? I do wish there was a compilation of photos somewhere with all main brands side by side, that would be so incredibly helpful to newbies like me looking to build their first TK kit! Thanks everyone

For being approved in the 501st then I know from personal experience that the RS is almost guaranteed (I have to say almost because I don't want to lie and having it held against me, if they would have screwed something up) to get approved in the 501st! I did work to get to Centurion but it wasn't all that much!

RS currently are pausing the new orders since they focus on a certain limited edition helmet right now, so if you are thinking about getting the RS armor then you'd have to wait a little bit and keep an eye on their website for when they accept new orders!

I first joined this forum in 2017 after I had ordered First Order armor from Anovos. Of course, I never received that. But, 5 and a half years later, Denuo Novo fulfilled my original order. I was pretty shocked when my armor arrived a couple months ago and my helmet arrived 2 days ago. So, I’m now starting the process of getting reacquainted with this forum and where I should begin with putting my costume together. Has anyone else had any experience with the armor from Denuo Novo? Are there any reasons this armor won’t work for 501st approval?

The first "expert infantry" John TK2036 (although EIB was not in the thread title ) , the first "Elite" Joey TK2126, the first "Mark IV" Scott TK4149 2) On the (now broken) EI listing page, what is the significance of the background images? Each costume version had background from the movie it was from, command staff had millennium falcon in death star landing bay 3) Who was the only person to be approved with an FX helmet? I thought a few did, Scott TK4149, also poll to remove FX helmet from EI program here 4) Who was the first ESB EIB? Mark TK8993 5) Who was the first Centurion? Mathias TK2959 6) Why can't you have more than one Centurion award?, Couldn't find the direct answer, did come across one of your posts "There are some valid reasons why the Centurion is a single reward, and part of that logic is so that people don't get so wrapped up at the top that we lose our focus on getting the other 1800 TK's brought up to par." post is here 7) Why were the colors chosen for the Centurion award?
