  1. Hello fellow Troopers, I want to complete my build thread here with the final pictures and steps I took before I achieved my basic approval. Apologies for not doing it sooner. The final steps included bicep hooks, assembled/painted my helmet and commissioned a blaster by Troopacoola. Thanks again to everyone here at FISD who helped me along with my journey to becoming a Stormtrooper in the 501st Legion. It's a dream come true! So far I have completed 3 events trooping with my amazing local Garrison ISG a new friendly family in my life. So many new chapters about to unfold... Mtfbwy always.

  2. Hello Everyone I am so excited to have found the forum thanks to the Swedish Garrison, as I have been wanting to be part of a community that gives back as well as participate in a hobby we love. Brand new at the building of costumes and ideally would love to create a Captain Phasma. Any and all advice will be welcomed with open arms, I had a read through some of the threads but not sure of the most up to date info and suppliers specifically for Phasma. Looking forward to being part of the community.

  3. I certainly hope one of those chapters includes submitting this cracking set of armor for Expert Infantry level, Paul! You put your heart and soul into this build... and it shows. Side note: I'm envious as all heck of your E-11!

  5. It’s been a long time since I have updated on here. I have 3d printed out the rail, block, and hammers in metal; currently I am waiting on the scope bell and cap. the metal prints turned out very nice! I have a few adjustments I would like to make but so far so good.

  6. Colin, This is amazing work. Thank you for detailing this so clearly for anyone looking to do a BS Helmet Conversion. Also, thank you for sharing the tears and traps on Thingiverse. This is true for the Kenobi series helmets and likely several other helmets being used on set today. So kudos for including in in your build. However, I know you and I discussed this previously on FB, but for anyone thinking about cutting up their helmet, just be aware that the vented traps weren't the case for all the helmets during the filming of the Anthology movies or even The Mandalorian series. Several of us vented the traps as you've detailed (which was is a pain in the butt) but I'm still trying to put my finger on when the prop designers made this feature "standard issue." Here's Mr. Missing Trap from The Mandalorian. Notice the solid white piece where we should be seeing vents: Personally, I think it's because several scenes from Kenobi were filmed on location which may have required additional comfort. Regardless, if done correctly, like you've done, either way should be acceptable. Overall, great job on the conversion. This is awesome work.

  11. Hello @justjoseph63. I think that helmet is from a hot toys (sideshow collectibles) figure, specifically for a 2009 comic-con exclusive figure. I found on Facebook someone who makes these interiors. You can take an eye on it, and see if it's what you're looking for. I will pass the info to you privately, and if you consider it is valid and can be shared with all members, you can post it here later.

  12. For sure! What a fantastic father-son connection and a way to honor his legacy. This should be broadcast more widely. Maybe talk to the Legion PRO?

  13. From Joe Fera Thought you all would like this. As we all know, Terrell Reber (owner of ATA) and his wife, Traci, lost their battle with Covid last year, leaving behind a 16 year old son. A year ago this weekend, Terrell started thinking of coming out of retirement when he found out a mutual friend of ours has been hosting immersive Star Wars themed fundraisers since 2015. Sadly, he never got that chance, as he passed a few weeks later. Today, their son, Tyler, suited up in his dad’s armor and took his dad’s place trooping with the Great Lakes Garrison at this year’s fundraiser. link to video on our Facebook group. https://www.facebook.com/100000143623914/videos/pcb.1115694322395526/1144135676480500
