Deposit made on AM 5.0, so now the waiting begins in earnest. I'm told BBB day should be in October/November (3-4 months). I ordered the B options that comes with all the goodies to make it Centurion, including your flexible hand guards @justjoseph63. We'll see how patient I am with the build. Centurion would be nice, but I'm not 5'7" 140lbs, so EIB maybe the best I can do. LOL2 points

The TLJ CRL's are going through some updates currently, some things may change at basic or added for higher level. Here are just a few common items. Some of the details with TLJ Cod Forearms inside, also grey screw on TLJ Detonator The TFA TDS were solid resin and weighed 1.5kgs. For TLJ they completely redesigned the TD, cut-out the apertures and created a lightweight insert. TLJ blaster has a picatinny rail. There are a few more items with the blasters which may or not be added like the endcap, D ring, color, cocking lever either not there or on other side, you can see more research in this thread End cap D ring Rear sight Black standard trooper White heavy weapons trooper site is white TLJ and TROS Neck seal zip at front Another reference front facing zip TROS Armor overlaps and is curved on biceps And of course helmet, clips/recesses and teeth/nose area Tube stripes open2 points

Hey thanks Glen @gmrhodes13 and Mario @TKSpartan for the feedback and encouragement. Yeah the biceps have to be adjusted for sure. Will make sure I make sure they are in line next time I push them up and attach them to the Velcro on the bells (my wife helped attach those for me) The TD, yes, I had forgotten to place the double thickness Velcro after painting on there to keep it attached to the ab section. I have since added it and it will keep it down now. The right chest plate side wing, I agree and will make sure I get that straight next time.2 points

Alright all, I'm looking to retire my old ATA kit and replace it with a Triple D (AM) kit built to EIB standards. The plan is to take my current ATA kit and cut it down to make it fit my wife, so I'm just waiting on Dave to get the plastic in so I can order and get started. I'm starting the tread now so I can solicit tips tricks and ideas so I'm ready to start once BBB day is here.1 point

Thank you! Yes I have, I've gone with RWA. I already have the helmet from him, built it earlier this year just for something for the shelf but decided to go all in and complete the costume afterall.1 point

Got around to sanding, filing, (and sanding) my sniper knee down. I believe it is ready to go on my thigh. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

I looked at the photos, and I m not sure what to make of it. The trigger group looks like a C1, but the grip doesn’t. It’s a little like the E-22, not a Sterling but not an L2A1 AEG either.1 point

Hi Chris, Welcome to the FISD from the mainland. Great to have you joining the TK ranks. Loads of info here, but feel free to shout if you have any questions. Have you chosen your TK supplier yet? Best wishes Dan / TK42911 UKG1 point

Looking good, a couple of things you may need to adjust that your GML may require Side closer not quite straight. Also there is a big gap from you the bottom of your TD to the armor. Biceps could be rotated, clips at front Good luck with approval, hope to see you with a TKID soon1 point
