  1. Just be sure to glue small strips of form fitting ABS behind the gaps before adding the paste. This provides reinforcement and gives the paste something to adhere to. HINT: Don't go crazy when applying the paste. Trust me. Use just enough to fill the seams without too much on top. Otherwise you will have a LOT more sanding to do.

  3. Bought this off outerrimoutlet on etsy. Build quality looks good. Definitely going to need lots of sanding to get all the print lines removed. He did send a printable pdf for instructions and tips for putting it all together that is helpful. Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk

  4. Well I've now made 1 repair. My wife (who this is for) picked it up the first time and tried to rack the charging handle. So that broke clean off. I decided to redneck myself a fix. I hollowed out the changing handle where it goes into the body. Then I had to grind down a bolt so it would fit inside. Threw a bunch of E6000 to hold that in and screwed the bolt through the charging handle. Looks good as new and it should be a lot stronger. Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk

  5. Good day to you Mr tibbles. Well spotted sir. I am awaiting my new ESB e11. To be honest I've followed your progress on the ukg forums, your everywhere I've used my hero tk but I've swapped over the helmet belt and gloves plus holster.

  6. Here's one masterfully finished by Paul Prentice of Mr. Paul's Shoretrooper Build. And yes, when finished properly, I can say with some authority, having held a screen used one, that it is the most accurate currently available and absolutely worth a purchase if your goal is a Rogue One/New Generation suit. Jimmi's is excellent as well, but Nico's is truly impressive. More photos at: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100008239635269&sk=photos_by

  8. "Of course, there will always be the one trooper who is totally anal (that would be me, lol) and will nit pick it, but I generally ignore them..." Get ready for some nit-picking and ready to roll your eyes, Ron... I know many (if not most) paint the butt-stock in black, but the ones in ANH were natural wood (brown) as seen in the main detention block room and in the screen used one below. (It sold at auction for around $85.000.00). For my 3D version, I painted the stock brown and striated it with some lighter brown/tan to emulate a wood grain. Not nearly as shiny as the originals but I am happy with it. Either color is fine for all levels of approval.

  9. Hello and welcome aboard, there are lots of other build threads to follow, this one from Tony is full of detail, its Anovos but it will be similar When in doubt ask, also make sure you measure twice and cut once. You can refer to the Gallery sections, ANH is here https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/gallery/category/24-anh-tk-reference/ Good luck with the build.

  11. Oh, our Garrison won't care. I want the butt end to look more accurate, but as for the rest of it, I think it's good based on the opinions shared here. Of course, there will always be the one trooper who is totally anal and will nit pick it, but I generally ignore them... one advantage of wearing the bucket is how it hides excessive eye rolling. Thanks for the input!

  12. A $1.50 voltage regulator chip will do the same job, take up no space as you can mount it on the Vellerman board. that's how I did mine and it is still faultless to this very day some 5 years later.

  13. Thighs after doing the corrections: Thanks, justjoseph63 for pointing them out, they're much better now! I'll probably mix myself some ABS paste now for those gaps. Would probably be good to get the acetone work done before moving into a small room where I can't work outside anymore

  16. what do you mean with both sizes? But yes, they are two different patterns for of course two different bags, the smaller wide one and the taller more narrow one.

  17. I think I will go for it, very little needs to be done for EIB, some Centurion requirements are already met as well. Just looking up costs, and then giving the run down to the powers that be, to get the ok.
