  1. Well RS Prop Masters uses IB for their boots, so I am pretty sure that they kind of act like a UK distributer for IB. https://www.rspropmasters.com/store/stormtrooper/stormtrooper-accessories/boots/

  2. Did anyone see the live-action Incinerator Trooper in The Mandalorian footage they showed at Celebration today? I only saw it in some bootleg footage. Hopefully it stays up...or they release the high res version soon. https://www.instagram.com/p/BwPlb7bg9tK/?utm_source=ig_share_sheet&igshid=1pwj2c4bmswsx

  3. Hello, I just received my BBB yesterday and got started on my build. Pretty sure I have all the material gathered with a couple exceptions that I’m still waiting on. I did find a small crack in the back section of my bucket and AM is sending me another one (great customer service, quick to reply back to all my questions...and I had a bunch before ordering). This will probably be a slow build since I really want Centurion level and want to do it right the first time. I also am simultaneously building an Imperial Officer uniform. Here’s what I have so far. Please let me know what you think, suggestions, anything. Thank you

  4. Hey man looks like your helmet tube stripes are the wrong way around on one side, should look like this Nice work, good luck with approval

  5. The gloves should be approvable to Centurion. They are chemical gloves and white latex handguards, which is what you need for centurion.

  7. I almost fell out of my seat when I first saw it! Enough people have seen the bootleg version now. They might as well put up the official version.

  8. Holy cow, are we mid-way through April already?! Progress on this kit has been slower than I'd like it to be. I take full responsibility for it, though! I have a serious case of "Ooh-look-a-project-itis" lately. I'm still not done with my Hero TK build (although it's coming along, I haven't documented it, though!), and my T-21 foam build is still mid-way through, and I still have to convert my stunt TK to a TD (and build the backpack for it), and then there's this TK I'm working on... and most recently I got the itch to start looking into 3D printing a shoretrooper. Oh boy. Since my last post, I was able to acquire some TK Boots for my hubby (thanks to @Commander Gree!). And today I finally made some flippin' progress on this kit, which has me thrilled! I present to you... LEGS! Trimming for width is always the most challenging part for me. Not only do you have to trim to make the parts fit properly, but you have to make sure that the front and back seams line up. Which is no easy task with the RS shins! One half of the shins (the left halves, the RS kit comes with two identical shins) has a lot less material at the bottom of it than the other. This isn't an issue if you plan on shrinking the shins down a lot (as I've had to do to my own shins in the past). However, I hardly have to trim anything off the backs of the RS shins on my hubby, so I don't have much room to adjust for wonkiness. In the pic below, you can see how the shins line up in the back. There is barely 1cm of material overlapping at the top, and nothing at the bottom. (This was taken before I finished trimming right thigh for size, so please ignore that!) The shins fit my husband perfectly as taped, so I'm going to have to do some serious coverstrip magic to straighten things out. *For the record ALL RS shins are made like this; it isn't some lame overtrimming from the studio.* I will be assembling his shins with magnetic closures (like I've done with my other 3 sets of shins), and all the hardware for that part of the project has already been created and acquired (I really am not a fan of making magnetic buttons out of ABS. I had the foresight to create those last October- yay!). The other bit of progress made has been with the torso (no pics for this part). I've reinforced all the returns and installed the brackets for strapping the torso parts together. I've also been successful with installing the split rivets and strapping on the right side kidney/ab, and installing the Han snap. These are all little things that seem to take a lot of time to get done for me. But when it's done- WHEW! I'm off to get stuff glued now.

  9. This is awesome. I'm awaiting my BBB and would like to give this a whirl. Do you have a complete BOM to build this? I already have a few nanos, and I think some dfplayers (possibly clones). Is the PCB board available on OSH Park? I searched but it didn't pop up. Any help/guidance appreciated. Kris

  10. Glad I could help, and will agree that you should order larger (just so they are comfortable).

  13. In fact, i’m selling a very nice E-11 (not Doopys), if you’re interested, seeing as you’re in the UK.

  14. Oh yep, you’re quite right. A strip of aluminium from a DIY store And screws to attach. Oh, and a bracket to attach the Hengstler

  15. Doesn’t he also need the scope rail? That’s the only piece that doesn’t come with the kit.

  16. The complete resin kit does, yes. As long as everything is in the right place and the right way round

  17. If I could make a suggestion, I would order half a size larger than what you normally wear. Imperial Boots are great but run a tad small.

  20. Just looked it up and their exact words are, "We are very proud to be the European distributor for Imperial Boots. Real leather boots specifically made for trooping. These boots only ship to Europe separately, supplied with our complete commissions worldwide. To buy these boots separately outside of Europe please visit www.imperialboots.com".

  21. You can never have too many magnets or clamps. Lee Valley has rare earth magnets. The quest design E-11 is fine - I added a spring to the action and painted a few parts to look metallic. I use it all the time for trooping - it feels a lot more durable than my 3D printed one. There are separate threads for blaster builds but I've got into the habit of just including them in my armour builds.

  22. The shipping puts me off from there though as I'm in England I could get stung for customs fees on top

  23. Hello and welcome, looking forward to seeing your build progress. Lenses depends on what version TK you are building Stunts have flat and Hero have bubble, check out the other differences in this doc: https://drive.google.com/file/d/10tEVteIreh6AHMogW010cuH_Bf8TBfU6/view Also make sure you check out the corresponding CRL's for 501st approval Stunt here, Hero here. Good luck

  25. Motivated from the almost finished blaster, i added the front sight guard to the tube. Thanks to Fieldmarshal... To create the small hole for the guard i drilled holes and just tried until the guard is fitting... Have a great evening ... ;-)
