Hi Marcel, and thank you for your EIB application!

CRL and EIB Application Requirements:

All required photos have been submitted, and on behalf of the entire D.O. staff we are pleased to welcome you to the rank of Expert Infantry.  Congratulations!  :salute:

Other-Armor Fit/Assembly;

In this area we review observations made by your fellow troopers and the DO team.  Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor, and please keep in mind that  we consider both text (CRL) and pictures (screen caps/reference images) when reviewing submissions.

Just a simple adjustment here : The TD is a little high. It should be about the same height as the canvas belt.

YcsCxpA.png          XlNKKrL.jpg?1   6JL0myY.jpg?2

Your thighs look a bit wide at the top.  This can be fixed by removing the back cover strip,  trimming the thigh halves and glue the cover strip again.

                                                                                                            References

qDN8lOY.png                        7ALSxJ9.jpg?1    9uMRHKp.jpg?1

Centurion Requirements:

In this section we prepare you for our highest tier of approval.  Because Centurion photos must show more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Level 3 might be seen there and not here and additional photos may be required. We try to point out all that we can from what we are able to clearly see, but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper.

CRL L3:  The plastic shoulder straps need to be held down in the back via a white elastic band to the white fabric that connects/bridges the chest and back piece.

Starting from the shoulders, The left shoulder bridge is slightly raised. Looking closely , the white elastic should be  positioned holding down on the shoulder armor and bridge together

                                                                                                                                                                   Reference Images

xOgIMH4.png   10k08nT.png       xyBE9NZ.png?1  uG4pEd5.jpg

CRL L3: Ideally there no gap between the abdomen and kidney armor. Abdominal and Kidney Plate align horizontally at top.
A single visible seam line is present.

The Shims you added to the Kidney armor must be filled . You could use some ABS paste, sand a bit and polish.

                                                                                                                                                     Reference images

TNomybt.png  MPvFafK.png               AokWacz.jpg?1           H7voVTk.jpg?1

CRL L3: Rivets are equally spaced along the depth of the armor and about 10mm from the edge

The rivets of the AB plate plate are too far from their ideal position. They should be removed, new holes drilled and the old holes covered with abs paste. It looks more complicated than it really is. If you need help, we are here to help you.

                                                                                                                  Reference Images

 zDG0l2g.png                     sr2V6f6.jpg?1        1M3mDzX.png

CRL L3: The large Ab plate detail shall be a separate piece attached to the raised center mounting area.
Plate does not overlap the edges of this area and shall show a definite straight cut edge around all sides.

Looking closely to your Large Ab Buttons plate, It looks to be trimmed offset, it's on an angle, eve though a little deviation could be acceptable, but, in this case it is quite noticeable. Trimming carefully the edge could do the trick.

                                                                                                                           Reference Images

B8H8kKF.jpg        X0BKf53.jpg?1  GwggW3U.jpg?1

CRL L3: The top of the ABS ammo belt should sit at or just above the bottom of the central and vertical abdomen button panels.

A common solution to this issue is to use a piece of Velcro behind to keep the ABS belt in place.

                                                                                                                                                  Reference Images

sVWxcFF.png        10Xqwf3.jpg?2   8DGr9Tm.jpg?1

CRL L3: Drop boxes are vertically aligned with the end of the ammo belt with minimal gap between belt and box.

Your are riding a little high so they overlap the ABS Belt lower section.

                                                                                                                                                         Reference Images

u4vWTHn.png  Mt5z65W.png       AvON8cl.jpg   51ZIg8I.jpg

CRL L3: The corners of the plastic ammo belt shall be trimmed at a 45 degree angle that that meets the outer edge of the cloth belt.

A recommended fix for this is to trim the edges of the plastic ammo belt  a bit to adjust it to those 45 degrees.

                                                                                                                                                                       Reference Images

  QHqzj7y.png  w2y7nXs.png     U73rIOj.jpg?2  l7GU5Sq.jpg?2

CRL L3: Lower thigh ridge joins (front and rear) shall butt-up flush against each other. Any gaps must be backed with ABS or filled as not to be noticeable.

Looking at the back of your thighs, you have a small gap in the ridges. you can glue a small square of ABS plastic and fill with ABS paste, sugru or something similar.

                                                    Reference Images

   EwwOIfT.png?1

Centurion is all about details trooper and this one is just a dressing issue , just take care every time you put on your armor that the Shins sits lower.

                                                                                                                                                            Reference Images

   xs4tGgp.png    sB5Vtt1.png     awAUEFF.jpg  ckt0Ws9.jpg

Your E11 Blaster Ammo counter rides a little back, you will need to re locate it a little forward.

                                                                                                                                   References

hp2xyyE.png         HHquZIS.jpg   F8fkLY9.png

CRL L3: The blaster may have minor weathering or base metal exposure however, T-tracks and grips shall be of a black plastic appearance with no silver/metallic weathering allowed.

It could be a light effect but just in case, when taking the photos for Centurion , be sure the the grip shows black color in the surface.

                                                                                                                                                                        References

8iS6oud.png  FqaJ9Zz.png                4djdC4v.jpg       zhxmybA.jpg

That's all Trooper, perhaps it looks like a lot of work ahead for Centurion, but we are confident you can do it and we are here to help.

Welcome to EIB ranks !! :th_AnimatedBravoSmiley:

Hey Luca, ganz lieben Dank. Dann als nächstes Ziel Centurion. Davor aber endlich die ersten Troops absolvieren. Darauf freue ich mich riesig. Hab einen schönen Abend und liebe Grüße …

Hey Luca, thank you very much. The next objective is Centurion. But before that, finally, complete the first Troops. I'm really looking forward to that. Have a nice evening and best regards ...
