gazmosis[501st]
Should be an easy pass. Looks great to me!! You might want to look into trying to get your thighs an inch higher. It might give the concentration around your knees a little relief.

Thanks I did that just after the pics were taken (I was in a bit of a hurry, as I was leaving for a course, that I am presently attending), I shortened the straps 3 cms, and now the thighs sit high and tight.. The5thHorseman[501st]
You might need to take a picture with a ruler next to your side gaps. For EIB, the CRL says that: "For level two certification (if applicable): Any gap between the ab and kidney plate shall be no more than 1/2" (12.5mm) wide. Any shims used to achieve this effect should be of a similar material and color as the ab and kidney plate. Shims shall fit flush and seams are allowed ." Still, good luck with your approval ! FunkyTrigger[TK]
I like your look and build. If you have attended to your thigh gap, Have you also shortened the right shoulder bell elastic to bring in the right shoulder gap? I'm not too worried about your ab to kidney side gap. It looks in proportion to your body, however the CRL does specify a half inch gap. You are allowed a seam for EIB Can you add a shim do that the CRL requirements are all ticked off? If not, please pm me with your reasons and I Will have your application put to a voting panel. Good luck trooper, You are very nearly there. I have shortened the thighs, and on the shoulder I have reversed the bells, and that looks better with equal amounts of black showing. PM incoming.... troopermaster
the CRL does specify a half inch gap. The CRL needs changing. A lot of troopers are over weight these days and a bit of a gap at the sides of your armour should not jeopardise an application. Adding ugly shims to great armour is an insult. There are no shims on screen so why on earth would anyone insist of having them on a screen accurate replica costume? Ban shins. Seriously! Locitus[Admin]
I'm inclined to agree with Paul on the shims unless we're talking massive gaps. But in those cases, maybe a TK isn't the right costume for you anyway.
longboard8
I believe it has been said that body habitus shouldn't exclude one from clearance. Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk
