Some of you may know that I flew over to London a few weeks back and helped both sskunky and JoeR to form the very first helmets on Joe's moulds. We had some great fun forming all day, and you may have seen the mock-up lid I threw together in the workshop. Obviously I wouldn't leave without my very own kit - I know a lot of you still think ROTJ lids stink, but these are real beauties! Remember, these come from moulds directly cast from an original, and untouched as well! These lids are something special really! Anyway, enough talk, here are some pics of my build so far, the next update will take a while, but this is enough eye candy to start with I'd say Here's how it started: And here's where I'm at now: Next to my TM trooping lid Now the waiting starts for decals, mic tips and bubble lenses... And the second is what a friend said when ask what his newly born baby boy was like and he said “He’s GINGER!, has million freckles and he’s as ugly as sin, but he’s my boy and I love him to death and no one is ever going to harm him while I’m still breathing†So. like it or not, the ROTJ helmet may well be the ‘Banjo-playing-misshapened Ginger-step-brother’ of the beautifully flawless. grey grinned ANH creation but he’s family, and you’ve just got to love and protect him, …’coz he’s ours capice? They will be screen printed ghetto style - by me and will be the beeeeez kneees if you know what I mean. These will be the most accurate decals I have ever made and they are made only for the CFO-ROTJ helmets. Its gonna be soooooo cool!!!! For some people it migh be dificult to appreciate its beauty specially to ANH followers but do not get mistake, this helmet is a beauty!!
