One or two more Warren, for 501st clearance I do believe those drop box straps should be white and the 'open' edges of the overlaps on your thigh fronts are facing out. I got hammered on that one. The 'open' parts of all overlaps need to face inward, away from the public.

Mines FX ( with an Master Replica's helmet ) and I'm cleared bro. The old FX lid is the thing that causes clearance problems.

Just convinced my wife that my Fx armour needs a facelift ( she even said she would buy me an ATA lid for Christmas - BONUS ) so I think I'll be putting one of these babies together in the near future too Doug. Out of interest, I'm not that large a trooper ( girth or height ). How do you think the ATA kit will suit a person of our stature? Darren TK4841

Automotive paint - satin black, gives a lovely non-reflective surface. I tried using the non-slip matting for a while SHiv, but I wasn't happy with it. Went back to paint. Darren

Hi Mark, Yeah that is a superb tutorial. He's taken it MUCH further than I'm gonna go. I think I'll stick to the ears and brow mods until I order my ATA lid.

Hi Guys n' Gals. I,ve trooped a few times in my MRCE now ( at first I wasn't happy with it but it's growing on me ). I think I've decided to try and improve it a little further by 1. The dreaded 'ear change' 2. Raising the brow a little. I'm sure many of you fine folks have doen one or both of these mods on an MR so any hints ( or even pics ) would be appreciated. Thanks Darren

I got my bum felt TWICE by some lovely ladies at the Glasgow Collectormania troop.

Got to add a Hensler to the e-11, improve the d-ring ( the cast one is pants ), sort out the rear split below the belt and I think I'm good to go ( may need a better holster as well ). I WILL BE ONE OF THE 100 ( at least thats what I keep telling myself )

Never used a cool vest, but have used cool max balaclava and that makes a difference. Other than that just fans for me.
