  1. I agree, regardless of it's varitions it looks like a beauty. Can't wait to see the build.
  2. I did away with the mylar strips on my FX TD Ryan. I made two galvanised steel brackets ( to be more accurate ) and attached the TD to the belt with these.
  3. Nice Keil. Was the rest of the backpiece done first or have you designed it around the Imperial and Rebel logos? I'm gonna have to fit the cog into existing tatts as I don't have sufficient space to add it alone Darren
  4. Nice, simple and classic..! Gonna get a cog and my TK number soon ( if I can find a bit of un-inked skin)
  5. Hi John. I agree with you the worst part of an FX build is he thighs. I needed to trim a lot off to get them to 'funnel' don toward my knees. You've done a great job - good luck with the clearance ( should be a breeze )
  6. Hi Hayes. Your MRCE lid looks superb ( much better than mine ) Does your sniper knee plate have any packing behind it. I glued a small piece of rubber behind mine to push it forward. This stops it going behind the thigh. Darren TK4841
  7. Sorry to hijack this thread Dan, but am I right in thinking that the kidney plate can be cut right down so that it sits against the back plate ( I know I should know this allready )?
  8. THanks for the tips guys. I'll see you at the next troop Gary ( probably Leicester NSC ). Darren
  9. Hi All. I've only done a few troops and I'm allready sick of "aren't you a little short for a stormtrooper" ( being 5'9" ). Has any other 'vertically challenged' trooper used lift heels or similar to gain a little extra height? <_< Any suggestions Darren TK4841
