  1. No light with this chip, but if your electronically inclined, you can do something with this: ---------
  2. Sorry to hear about your helmet. Reasons like this is why the 501st requires a secure changing room at troopings.
  3. If you cant bend more than 90 degrees, it means you should trim your forearms armor a bit.
  4. When I first joined, I never actually looked at the CRL, I was just told to just buy FX armor and come to an armor party to put it together. I don't think the FISD existed back then, nor did I have access to 501st forums.
  5. Calm down dude, some people don't know better as that is what comes standard with the FX kit. When I started off, I wore black tube stripes and black buttons, until I found out the truth on FISD. Some are also just happy as is.
  6. I think the reason why a lot of us do events is to see more pics of ourselves. We just look damn good
  7. Nice pictures... Welcome to the FISD!
  8. Best Buy manager gave me a copy of Episode 3 DVD for trooping at the DVD release...
  9. I ordered my size and it fits me with a bit of room to spare. Its always nice to have more room than not enough. Just order your regular size, you'll be fine.
  10. Great looking... armor On a more serious note, I'm sorry to hear about the marital problems. I hope everything works out for you.
  11. Doh! Alright, look forward to my application before the end of the year.
  12. I just need to split the rear armor, install a D-ring on my hyperfirm, install a canvas belt, and replace my shoulder straps with ones that don't show rivets and I should be good. However I don't feel like I should be applying for EIB with the FX armor. I've been here long enough to see the "difference".
  13. Seems to me so far you got the eye for detail and the skill to make it happen. Keep it up! This looks like the right hobby for you.
  14. The only reason why there are right handed holsters for the right side is because most 501st stormtroopers use unmodified Hasbro blasters which fits either way.
  15. Lately the Pacific Outpost has been getting hand made Leis for trooping with events related to the public library. I think thats pretty awesome
  16. Just rewatched parts of ROTJ in 1080p to answer your question. It is a LEFT-handed holster worn on the right side with LONG black straps riveted about midway on the belt. The straps seem to lower the holster right below the bottom of the drop boxes. I also just realised there was a rebel dressed as a scout trooper who was under arrest right before the Ewoks attacked. O_O
  17. I would prefer a dark grey with black in the center, and imperial cogs (bronze, silver, gold) for multiple awards.
  18. Be careful of hot glue. I used it for my Dan Laws, and it was so hot, it warped the plastic on the snout. Be sure to have a cold wet towel to hold on the other side of the helmet to keep the temperature down. I was actually able to straighten the eye bump because it was hot.
  19. Oh wow you aren't 501st yet and your already EIB quality? What do they feed you guys in the UK? You guys set the standards quite high
  20. Looks good. If your doing the stunt configuration you only need 2 bottom screws to hold the holster to the belt. I have a question, does the AP thermal detonator come with the mounting metal clips?
  21. The FX helmet should be large enough to accommodate glasses.
  22. For ANH stunt, the accurate color is green, but most people in the legion use an FX helmet which comes with smoked grey lenses thats why there might be a bit of confusion. Once you put the helmet on with green lenses, it should look black from the outside so the public wont even know.
