  1. Travis, that's an ROTJ blaster with the U tracks. The ANH most definitely has T tracks.
  2. Hi Travis, try here for starters: http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=1153 HTH!
  3. Hi Scott, I got mine on Saturday when I was at my first troop. Thank you so much. Like Nick, I'm looking for a good place to stick them!
  4. That's a great looking TX. Well done, mate!
  5. It's great that there's hope for the Rubies owners out there. In the beginning it was looking like fleabay or dumpster were the only options!
  6. I'd be reluctant to fly with armour in my case, it's not very sturdy and... well you've seen how baggage handlers treat your stuff!
  7. Valentines? Oh, that'll be why I got a card! I went trooping.
  8. Fair enough, but this thread isn't exactly constructive for the FISD now, is it?
  9. Simon, the UKG GML, requested a few photos to make sure it couldn't be seen. I thought I'd post them here too: Photos done! I got the tripod out and did it myself. Palaver? Nah! From these photos, the chin strap is well hidden. This was the first time I had tried it on with the new leather neckseal too. The strap sits perfectly right at the top of the neckseal. Very comfy and secure. Hope these shots prove the concept. Cheers!
  10. That's a lot of work, but it looks like you're well capable of making this a sweet set of armour. Well done!
  11. Okay. The tricky part: The forearms are inside the shins are inside the thighs (all individually wrapped). The right bicep is inside the left bicep is in the right shoulder bell is inside the left shoulder bell. Phew. With me so far? The butt/kidney is inside the cod/ab is inside the back is inside the chest. The boots are in the bottom, the E-11 is across the case in masses of bubble wrap. The undersuit, belt and neck seal are on the top. Oh, I forgot, YOUR BATTERIES are in the front pouch! Billy, the whole Emergency Trooper Repair Kit is going with us.
  12. Cheers guys, The clip doesn't rub all that bad, but I had a spare bit of webbing after I cut it for the straps so decided to up the comfort a notch. You have to be careful clipping it in. Don't want to catch hairs or flesh!
  13. I got this the other day, it's not a hard case, but it was cheap. I may upgrade later. This will double as a suitcase for my trip to France in May. No, I'm not taking the armour to the French Pyrenees! Fits all the kit: Is attractive: Oh yeah! It was cheap as chips too: ------- I love Poundstretcher!
  14. I'm a bit of a bobblehead trooper, so after seeing Colin Anderson's delectable AP bucket and chin strap, I decided that it would be a good idea to help secure my SDS Battlespec before my first troop this coming weekend. I wanted to make something adjustable and ended up with this 2.5cm nylon webbing chin strap and plastic buckle fastener: Neat: Attached to back of ear: It also has a comfort strip of webbing velcroed to the chin side of the buckle. You can see it in the pic above, but it's a little blurry. Strap retaining adjuster:
  15. I've been looking for the 'right' wires too. These fit the bill for me. I found one of these shaver leads (you can get 'em on the bay of fleas for a $/£ or two): One cable should be enough to do four blasters. Took six loops and tore the double cable apart; voilà:
  16. Wow! That's amazing. Please keep this thread updated.
  17. I've had my pop at the Rubies suit in the past, but that's pretty impressive work! I know it's expensive, but at least it should be readily available to the Stateside guys AND it's LICENCED! I wonder what it would take to get that ROTJ ELITE look.
  18. That was painless, never noticed a thing.
  19. Never! ANH frowns all the way!
