  1. I've got SDS too. The size of the thigh pieces, the left in particular, was tiny. That's what's given me the most trouble with fitting my Armour.
  2. Great job, man! I bought my armour before checking sizes, so it's taken me three years to get into it.
  3. Maybe the dog would.
  4. Hi Mark, I can see that from the photos, but once it's all sprayed black, I doubt anyone other than us (Troopers in general) is going to notice. I adapted the template to make the effect of the cylinders easier to achieve for me. Innacurate blasters are still currently being cleared for Elite, but if at any stage, Elite status requires correcting this, I'll re-attempt it. They are securely Araldited in place at the moment.
  5. Looks like a lot of work, but I have faith in you. What you've done so far is astounding.
  6. Personally I just don't like the scuffed look, but then that's just my preference and that's what it comes down to in the end.
  7. I thought Mark Cheng had stopped making them?
  8. I don't think you can smell it from a distance.
  9. They smell of the rubber material and the glue used in the soles. I've had mine three years and they still smell. I don't mind the smell. Some say it's like fish, but all I smell is rubber and glue. However, the look is perfect!
  10. I wondered if anyone with a real Sterling could give me the length of this part:
  11. MOAR Photos. Been doing lots of filling and sanding and I've added the Cylinders (thanks Mark!) The photos aren't great, but you can see the block that was added to the front of the mag to fill it out a bit. The new sight is there and I also added a strip of 1.5mm thick styrene sheet to the new metal trigger guard (cut the resin one off) to thicken up the steel sheet a bit (thanks again for the steel sheet, Mark.) Barrel bolts and Hengstler are all it needs. I am going to commence with painting the E-11 as it is. I wanted to paint the Hengstler while it was unattached and have masked it's attachment point with blue tape. This was done from looking at photos of Sterlings online and as such is probably a little inaccurate, but this is the detail part from the back of the mag: Real Sterling: Template - Print at 300dpi This is my rough attempt:
  12. Difficult to get a cheap pair that look good and stand up to the rigours of trooping. The cheap option is to get a pair of Chelsea boots and dye them white, but they end up all scuffed and you have to keep re-dying them. The other option is to bite the bullet and buy Stormtrooper boots from caboots.com. There used to be other makers out there, but they seem to have stopped making them. If there are other options, I'm sure someone will be along soon... HTH!
  13. Great idea Nathan! New thread for 10 copies of the Star Wars Helmets DVD: http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=5721
  14. Thank you, Dave and Happy New Year to you. :duim:
  15. Poor kitty!
  16. I hope you practiced on a Gundark first.
  17. Awesome, I do believe this is the start of my new years resolution to have good stuff come my way. One for me thanks, Dave!
  18. Sweet armour, dude.
  19. Take a look at this: ----------- HTH!
  20. That's fantastic!
  21. First time I've seen your armour Billy. That's absolutely awesome, mate.
  22. This is true. Cheers, Mark.
  23. That would be torture. Been there, done that.
