  1. I just ordered a selection of fillers and adhesives off the bay of fleas. Can you recommend a size for the hex cap screws?
  2. Thanks for the tips Billy and the sights! I might do my own based on those.
  3. Bloody hell Billy! When they said folks were helpful around here, they were not jesting. I really appreciate all your help. I am going to B&Q tomorrow for some filler (what do you recommend?) and some araldite and socket screws and... That scope is just astoundingly good, I don't know if I'm inspired, or just plain jealous! Thanks again, mate.
  4. Hi Jez, that's fantastic. I don't mind seeding them via .torrent, or post to those who can't .torrent.
  5. Thanks for the confirmation mate. Colin thought this was the case, but said to ask here just in case. Yeah, going for ANH Elite.
  6. What he said. I'll take two pairs of and two pairs of :vader1: pants though. :D
  7. Hi guys, More questions. I have a rather nice leather holster 41cm*18cm +11cm strap height, would this be acceptable for Elite status if the straps were modded (as shown) and poppers added? ======== Also, I know the approved ones have a brown strap, would it be okay in black?
  8. Hi Andy, I've started a thread for the custom Hengstler decal,
  9. Jez, I watched your videos this morning and was eagerly awaiting the AT-AT Driver Helmet video. Thanks for not keeping me in suspense too long. These vids are fantastic mate. Any way we can get our hands on less or uncompressed versions? I wouldn't mind dropping you a couple of quid for a DVD burn of these, just to see the helmets in all their glory instead of watching them through blocky vaseline, lol!
  10. Sawn off and replaced by the looks of it. Doesn't look too bad... Actually, now that I look at it square on... Aye, that's a disaster area. Could well be. I swapped an ROTJ for it when I decided to go ANH. Apart from those issues, It looks not too bad. That is sweet as a nut. :want: Will do! Other issues I have are mainly with the scope. (pics below) What should I use to fill in all these pesky bubbles and smooth out the rims around the sights? Any tips on how to clean that ugly lot up would be gratefully received. The new magazine footplate is looking good. A bit big for this resin mag, but nothing a bit of judicious snipping and sanding won't fix.
  11. I always look forward to Pete Jackson stuff. Have done since Braindead. Really looking forward to his take on the Dam Busters.
  12. Yep, already glued it! I currently suffer from a lack of metal working tools. <_< This blaster isn't too bad for a resin cast. The worst parts are the front of the stock at the barrel end and the detail at the back of the mag housing that you can see in the photo. I'll go with my scrappy solution and if it gives me any gip, then I'll return to your more elegant solution for a more civilized blaster. Thanks for the pics and everything mate.
  13. Hmmm, I ran into a bit of a snag. I acquired my ANH E-11 ready built so the rail is firmly attached and it's all glued up. I don't want to take it appart, si I came up with thid: The cheapo bracket! I'm planning on using E6000 to glue it to the rail. The drop still needs about 9mm shaved off the bottom. I'm going by the great pics above to guage the Hengstler's height and position in relation to the sight and the mag housing. This was done by chopping the ends off a flat bike spanner with the dremel and mashing the crap out of it with a hammer over a paving slab. Thanks again guys.
  14. That is a thing of beauty. I'd love one of those as a display piece. My SDS Battlespec is great for wearing, but isn't that accurate all things considered.
  15. Thanks Mark, Looks like I have a lot to read tomorrow.
  16. I don't actually own any metalworking tools, or even a vice, so I tried to improvise a set out of abs and AA batteries.
  17. I'm about to attach my Hengstler to the body of the gun. Are there any hard and fast rules about attachment? I can see from photos of screen used blasters, that often the Hengstlers were just jammed on the side and glued top and bottom to the side of the sight and the back of the barrel. I wanted it to be a bit neater, tho. Thanks.
  18. Those are flippin' awesome. I have a pair of resin ones and they're woefully inaccurate. I may have a go at something like this. It'll be my first scratchbuild!
