  1. Looks like a load of Dremel fun to be had there, mate. Good luck!
  2. I think the triple position popper I'll have will solve a multitude of issues. Cheers, Marcel!
  3. Thanks. Billy! It's guys like you that inspired me to keep at this and see it through. Three years since signing up at the UKG forums, here I am! You all know how it feels, right!? Looking forward to my first troop; Hi-Ex in Inverness, Scotland. 12 days to go!
  4. Fast recovery to you Charlie!
  5. That's disturbingly weird. The one on ebay; they want $100,000 for it.
  6. Congratulations Stefan! I need some help on level 5. The hairy 'thing' seems to have got a little bit loose!
  7. AWESOME! I'm going to lower them slightly and see how I get on.
  8. Thanks Marcel, I'm on top of the world! + For the higher biceps is they are far comfier and don't get caught on the lip of my shoulder bells. I agree with Pablo and Mark; looks wise, I prefer the lower biceps. Less black showing is good! I guess I could put a further popper plate inside the biceps, halfway between where they are now and the point that AA puts them, so that they're lower, but not catching on the shoulder bell lip (which helps with the slightly flared shoulder bell look, I really like). Terrell, I may have to get the kit on again to take some softer photos, the light was going when we took the clearance shots!
  9. PM'd you Scott. Save some postage and send mine with Colin's if you haven't shipped his yet.
  10. That's my SDS Colin is talking about. Cracked it twice and am much happier (and comfier) with the inner side of the lip removed on both shin tops.
  11. Awesome. I love to see these nostalgic photos.
  12. Thanks guys! To think, I didn't even know about Elite status until early December '08. :peace: Massive thanks to Colin; he's the reason I'm here. I owe you, brother! :peace: I can't say I'm the first Elite in Scotland (that well deserved honour goes to my brother trooper, Colin), or even Fife (Colin is in Fife too, damnit! ), so I'll have to settle for first Elite in Kirkcaldy.
  13. AWESOME!!!!! Thanks Scott!!! :D On my way to deck 5. Anybody got a set of binders!?
  14. There you go, Scott! I will endeavour to ram that thigh up a bit!
  15. Awesome Stefan, post up your own Armoured Tagline!
  16. Okay guys and gals, it's game thread time. What you do is replace the operative element in a movie tagline with the word 'armour,' or 'armor' for you American types. It goes like this: Armoured Tagline: In armour no one can hear you scream. Players must then guess the movie and the original tagline and post the full thing like this: Armoured Tagline: In armour no one can hear you scream. Original Movie: Alien Original Tagline: In space no one can hear you scream. Here's your starter: Armoured Tagline: Trapped in time, surrounded by evil, low on armour. Get it right and then post your own armoured tagline! GO!
  17. Thanks mate! I have tried to get those thighs higher, that's it for the moment. Maybe when I weigh a little less.
  18. Well here goes! Some of these photos are from my clearance pics... I know about the low biceps, they're sorted in the third pic. Biceps fixt!: You can't make them out, but the straps are right at the top of the biceps. The biceps are shimmed but they're not going any higher than that. Seems I have big 'ceps for a trooper. Butt/kidney split and canvass belt with holster attachment: Sides: Biceps fixed after this was taken: Biceps fixed after this was taken: Thermal Detonator: Shortened SDS/AA standard - This will get metal clips when I get a working rivet gun - I believe it is clearable as per previous discussions on this board. Neckseal: Being replaced by one of Rivetings lovely leather ones soon: Bucket: SDS 'Battlespec' ANH stunt style/Painted teeth/four holes/Green lenses Blaster: D-Ring: Barrel end and front sight: Hengstler with TKID and M32A2 scope: Left: Right:
  19. As a Blade Runner geek of the highest order. I know what you're saying. The Final Cut is my favourite, but a close second is the International Cut (the same as the US Theatrical cut, but with more violence.) I love the idea of the narration. I just think all the narration they recorded was a bit dire. Harrison didn't want to do it. Ridley didn't want it in the film, but Yorkin and Perenchio wanted it in there to explain things - and they held the purse strings. Like I say, I like the idea, just think if Ford and Scott had been down with the idea it would have been awesome instead of okay.
  20. I'm looking at mine right now! (I bought three of them, just so I could have one in each format)
  21. I kind of got used to and like the smell now.
  22. Mine meet in the middle and have a strip of velcro glued to abs to keep them shut.
