  1. Yes that's a good idea I suggested the same with our clearance photos and names on the UKG boards Helps put a face to a name. Thing is it'll add to the sites bandwidth ad you'll have to save the photos somewhere Or just get us to host them and the hyperlink is down to our hosting?
  2. Good question, cos looking at Han in the Death Star scenes, I don't think he has any rivets on the sniper plate Thanks DashRazor
  3. In aerator speakers are rubbish yes. Not bug enough to produce enough volume I don't do it that way, I do it like this This method is not quiet. But the chest mod with a ring of foam around the neck, is also fine Changing the mic helps lots mind guys. the less sensitive they are, then the less they are likely to pick up feedback. Trust me
  4. Motor cycle helmet liners are quite cool
  5. Ah ok Looking forward to what you might find
  6. Late 70s would have been ANH blasters or even ESB not ROTJ which was released in 83 ESB used casted guns......?
  7. I put a ring of foam under my neckline to damp the sound on my snowtrooper I also only ever use small circular mics not the hollow Box shaped ones like biker use In the UK skin mics like the ones Madonna uses on stage have become popular These need to be touching your lips so feedback is almost non existent For TKs..... Have you seen my mic tip tutorial or suggestion? Put speakers behind hollow hovis and cut a hole in your lid to let the sound out Cover the internal speakers with aerosol caps or domes that I now make. You can get good 2" speakers being used this way
  8. £5 tops I'll give you £6 Cool if it turns out to be true!! What with JoeR's suits I also suspect ROTJ suits to be popular this year
  9. Cool Thanks to Billy the total length of everything stuck on end to end is 19.4"
  10. Yeah the blaster tutorial assumes you have a hollow end cap (I think they make one?) Resin end caps generally aren't hollow so if you cut the pipe the length of the tutorial it'll be too long I think they same 18.5 inches? The actual length of what you can visibly see on a sterling receiver is 18" So based on that length, work out what length pipe you need to fit snuggly inside your end cap and still be 18" to the muzzle cap (that's then about 0.5") Hope that makes sense?
  11. One thing i will add here guys..... I like to only glue the TOP of the eyes Leave the bottom loose and with a gap (kids never see this) This way hot air escapes the lid and helps prevent condensation PS: I use hot glue
  12. Ever considered a Snowtrooper?
  13. His hero lids used to come with the brass paper clips yes He claims these were used to get a 'rough' shape and 'attitude' before finally commiting the angle/placement of the face with the screws.......? Who knows. As for AA, bullshuckser extraordinaire! However, I love Brian an his integrity, but Elsteee would have produced a few suits at best...? The machine was broken or I've even heard, not big enough to do the job...? AA had to produce 50. If he changed the moulds at all to help him during production, and make his job easier with undercuts etc, then he helped make the original moulds If that's true or not, who knows or cares. His suits aren't original, the lid is very close but the mould he used is no way 30+ old!!!!! So he's lying regardless of even if he did flipping sculpt them! Andrew isn't famed for being able to produce intricate organic shapes like a TK lid. I can sculpt but would struggle on a TK faceplate!!! Very complex shape Canoe, simple! TK, not so simple Brian must laugh (or even cry) at AAs sculpting video. Brian/Liz prob used fingers etc. AA used an angle grinder....!? Lol
  14. I use gardening knee pads But it's a bit too hard Motor cycle helmet liners and foam inserts are also good
  15. Try steve rogers Tangod Fett for scope casts
  16. Humbrol number 5 Or testors 1138
  17. Agreed actually Just giving him his options if he can't get an ABS hero. Give me one, a bit of filler, sandpaper and spray, you'd be hard pressed to spot the difference
  18. I don't think thu were softer just maybe a thicker sheet of ABS than the HPDE stunts possibly Plus the 2 behave differently I wouldn't worry about the extra teeth so much You could even take a sealing iron to the inside and flatten any teeth out if you have a super detailed looking mouth? If you get a HPDE lid you'll have to spray it anyway so maybe fill the teeth in and spray But I seriously wouldn't worry about it personally
  19. Good luck sir
  20. I would have thought any screen accurate maker dude, if the frown hasnt been exaggerated that is. Just cut less from holes out I sell 3 bump hero ears if you're interested John
  21. There's no denying he'll make more 3600 suits!!!! In 10 yrs Sadly they're all made that way. Cheap and nasty. I don't know what you guys expect? A lab and white coats. AAs videos are the same. Very simple to make the things, and people who do it well will make it look even easier. AA looks the more knowledgable of plastics tho. That said........ There is a loooooad of work in making a full sized suit and I doubt there's anyone out there who will do it for the goodness in the their heart. They do it to sell it to us and make a bit of money. Imagine TM, at least he sculpted his. So there's another step others don't do. TE didn't sculpt anything! But the suit he got wasn't cheap I bet! So whose should cost more? Not an easy answer. One thing I will say is Matt had some nice resin moulds. Probably made more than one set too lol No denying he's a scumpunk when he keeps telling you it's his last lot......or has sold copies of those moulds to lots if people Stolen off his mate? What a ####!
  22. C'mon, I've said sorry Since posting I've had a change of heart. It's my second favourite type of E11 now
  23. Cool, I 5'7" An upgrade to my TK is long overdue I said I'm 5'7" ok!!!! lol. I've got a lon torso though, so I hope I'll be ok and just the standard leg mods for shorties. Yes, very nice dude.
