  1. You're welcome I'm after one or two strips of spare T track
  2. Oooh, I'm loving those domed sticker things. Such a cool idea
  3. I know what you mean, but who know why it's there? Brian may know the reason as it's so small it wouldn't have been picked up on screen surely? Especially when painted over. Unless the decision to paint came after the sculpt? Just like the TD lids evolved into normal TKs. More detail etc
  4. I'd say 1" is too wide yeah, but I don't know if it would effect you 0.75 is more than enough. Some say it may have been thinner. A cm....but......... One thing I will say is, back in 76, a metric measurement on anything in the UK would have been very rare. Everything was imperial. My mate, who loves his engineering and the golden olden days, laser scanned my Sterling and was impressed there are no metric measurements on a Sterling All imperial lol Good on you for that detail as a lot use the wrong blaster even
  5. I wouldn't call it a derail dude? If I bought a lid and it cane back like that I'd be upset Now after seeing it's the way HPDE forms, makes sense
  6. Google Chicago screws but click the image tab They're just screws like a nut and bolt type thing but both ends have a furled edge
  7. Are they also called BARC troopers?
  8. I love that mod Great work sir
  9. What's that horrid line down the the tubes? Uch
  10. Cheers Billy Looks sweet PM sent
  11. Yes please that would be great I do remember the odd 2 part decals but GF has stopped a long time ago. Hence my quest for decals to suit I may paint them on but decals are needed incase I slip
  12. This is from the recently discovered helmet in the UK ------------ The oval shape is what you would get if you carved an oval into your face plate mould. It's just a recessed line . Not a raised blob
  13. TE type should fit yes. Just wondering if anyone ever had any specifics made
  14. Yeah I know, I'll have to pop on and have a look. The last lot I had didn't fit my SDS as I may have bought the wrong ones
  15. Has anyone here ever build a GF lid and if so, what and whos decals did you use? Many thanks John
  16. Ask Simon Newsham of the UKG dude [email protected] His missus made a cracker
  17. Pretty Are you doing the other hand with a straighter knuckle edge
  18. True, there was a bench/plank used for that scene. Not sure why but they were definitely on a plank
  19. Most people are taller than me Mark, and wider at the waist, but never mind Just confused unless he wears the same boots as you, but thanks for clearing it up. Just ask him next time
  20. Thanks for the birthday wishes folks
  21. Mark, confused...if he's 2" shorter than your 6'1", then that makes him 5'11"? There's 12" in a foot.
  22. Ditto! One slip with those things and you'll be crying. Very useful yeah but hard to master straight off the bat. Hand held tools like files and scissors are far more easier to control The Dremel can have a life of its own as it spins one way and you get a massive difference in the 'grip' or tension in the plastic you cut based on the way you try to move the dremel discs. Same for the sanding wheels After a while you get used to it and it's ok to master, but I'd rather use heavy duty scissors, drills and files to get the detail I need. Your hands are the only thing that can make a mistake
  23. Yeah theres a few weird ads on FB ATM One shows our old CO John Harris (legend!) from an old pic with his lid off Not sure what it's about. But yeah thats an FX suit with kegs in the wrong way around ( unless it's mirrored image) and they're lose so twisting on his legs
  24. Yay me! Thanks. Cool pic:)
