  1. Both ears are now bathroom sealant attached Spraying it properly today.
  2. It's a lot cheaper Vern I'll ask for a plastic alternative but I prefer the rubber feel
  3. After a good few days filling, sanding, priming, checking for bumps, sanding, filling, spraying and filling I've now moved onto white primer.....Great stuff, and got this so far She's getting better. How's it looking? Starting to look ok again? the rubber band will cover the lower trap edge and the ear will cover the ear mess, plus the tear drop decal will highlight the eye area. I'm hoping it'll turn out ok
  4. Ahhhhhh Thanks Billy
  5. Guys would you believe this..... Profile A is CHEAPER than profile B lol Why? Less material is used during extrusion lol. I'll have a proper final quote on Tuesday
  6. I prefer B myself as no one ever sees the underneath of these things lol B's profile looks like it will sit nicer than A
  7. Hi folks, Just wondering where everybody gets the T track from these days and how much it is? What material is it and what profile is it? I've been sorting out my email and found I was quoted a mould at £75 so may go for it and get a load made up. That was in 2008, but I just wanted to see if there's be any point? (which is why I got so annoyed with GINO a while back) If I went with this, would I be able to sell 100m if it were the same profile as Gino's (which it will be) and was sold for £2-3 per metre, would that be ok? Let me know your thoughts on the 2 profiles below guys. Both will be in extruded rubber, not ABS etc This one? A ------- This one? B -------- John EDIT: I just rang the company and the guy I spoke to retired yesterday Good for him! His colleague will be ringing me back in a bit

  17. I've re done that trap, as it was at the wrong angle. I'm just enjoying the fiddling abut in my shed It's just the cheek indent on the tube that's kind of wrong. It was a "second" off Joe. (cracked dome and back cap) not a nice spick and span clean one So not too bad I guess. Could have been worse
  18. Lol Thanks for tips guys I kind of used you all for help Used my sealing iron to unkink parts using a mould like Karin suggested (but just a flat shape) Used car body filler to get the parts flat again One last touch up today before it turns white I was kind of pleased about the the zombie idea though

  20. I've made it look a little more 'normal' What do you guys reckon? Soften the done trap off and hopefully with decals are brow trim she maybe ok again If not zombie beckons
  21. Quite right Tom. Never zoomed in before. Ta What's that then I'm sure I've seen a scope in a surplus shop with a bracket around that part which is what I thought it was, but yeah you're right, that's something different. Hmm?
  22. Almost there Karin Just a few parts left to make
  23. Holy balls that's cool!!! I'd end the mesh on the cocking slot a little different. Not sure how to end it but just feel it's 99% awesome left like that. Would love it to be 100% As for the scope ring, some TKs had it still on. One behind Leia when she's captured at the start has it on
