  1. Awesome picture thanks for sharing. It looks like he just turned up in someones back garden
  2. Well done another elite trooper with a fine set of armour
  3. Yeah thats about what i was going to say.. Close the side gaps, we cant see the split butt and back and those ab buttons look like the correct colour but are they the larger sized that come with the fx kit? And maybe a close up of your lid. Appart from those small details i think your armour looks great and all set for anh elite. All this makes for a good excuse to armour up for another photo set, hey
  4. When the battery is flat the unit will keep repeating the phrase 'rom fx'.. try a new battery first. And Paul you are correct about the nokia speaker, i use that one and everyone in earshot knows there is a stormtrooper about
  5. Hi Scott i got my elite swag in the mail yesterday, thanks very much for doing this for everyone
  6. Looking sharp there trooper, good job
  7. I would make your thighs as tight as needed. And by that i mean loose thighs look a bit crap but do them too tight and you wont be able to walk, run or sit down or go up stairs. With the fx i would try to tapper them in at the knee so they look less like bermuda shorts and dont knock at your knees. I have mine fairly tight i could maybe get a finger inside but how high? Remember they will rise when you walk, mine at a standstill look fairly low but they touch my ab plate when im in full stride. I would measure, tape them up and try, then adjust again til your happy lots of times before glueing. If are intending on using velcro for all closure you will have a lot more room to play. Anyway i hope this was of some help for you if you need to know anything else just shoot
  8. Good job on the pics guys and well done everybody for getting their elite status.. thats like gone from 11 to 17 in a few weeks
  9. I dont know about elite standards but both colours were seen in the film and should be considered accurate. I believe that all the belts were made from natural canvas and then whitened with canvas/leather whitener which is a messy process as anyone who has had to whiten their cricket pads will know.. and will run when it gets wet which is why i bleach my white belts
  10. Looking very good there my friend, nice work on the armour
  11. Its an interesting photo, thats for sure. I believe it came from the same photo set as this, very early ANH publicity pics, whether they were released or not is anyones guess.
  12. Well done on gaining your elite status christian
  13. Ok i think unless you want big shims in the back of the thighs maybe you do need to replace them (right leg atleast). I think the shins are going to be ok, maybe post some pics of the separate parts now so we can see whats going on. You can never post too many pics
  14. This is how i currently have my shoulder / front back connected... i use 2 inch wide canvas stripes attatched with poppers on the inside and a 1 inch elastic strip stitched on holding the shoulder bell and bicep This is what it looks like standing up, notice the thin elastic at the back to hold the asthetic plastic strap in place at the back Sometimes i leave them to free float at the back as this seems to be the most comfy, the ridged straps are purely for cosmetic purposes
  15. Looks like you will have to cut your toes off Paul and sqeeze your feet into those tiny size 8's
  16. Happy Birthday Mike, have a goodun
  17. Welldone Scott great looking armour
  18. Looks like another anh elite amongst the troops, nice job Thats looks like the rom fx with the extra sound effect buttons in the chest there...

  20. Hey Tony nice to hear from you, im glad you are 'comfortable', take care cheers fbj
  21. Hey Julian nice job on the armour and well done on getting cleared. I love the SE-14R nicely weathered, cheers
  22. I think thats a great idea Mike maybe we could arrange a detatchment whip round if that is what everyone thinks would be a good idea. I hope Tony gets well soon and recovers quickly, all the best from fbj
  23. What needs adjusting Adrian? Everything looks fine to me? Hey Steve, what else would you put in a welsh dresser?
