  1. Im guessing you will have to register, heres the link Press here for UKG
  2. You can get black rubber gloves at Asda for 1.65 credits. There are not as thick as chemical gloves but are not as thin as mariglods, im going to try them. The black rubber gloves i use atm are thin like washing up gloves, but at 2 pairs for 99p thats not bad. With out going too far ot, what the best choice for esb gloves, they look like silk or material?
  3. 'Trooper decals' goes by the user name of cannock wolf over on the ukg boards, you could try sending him a pm over there, not sure if he frequents these boards.
  4. As far as i know it was just glued on. You can see in the pics where it has fallen off the left over glue. check this thread for nice pictures to look at -------------
  5. How many pairs of shoes and handbags does your wife have? Nuf said
  6. Hi Jay looking at the pics of triktoys stuff on flea bay i would say they are not accurate hovi mic tips Stompers on the other hand are movie accurate But i think stompers run is fininshed for the time being
  7. While waiting for my TE2 to arrive i have been looking for more info myself as to how the real ANH lids were finished as i want to make mine as close to scrren used as possible. I came across this picture on another web site posted by Paul aka troopermaster. You can see that the green lense is alot wider than what we usually expect and can see that is is likely that some of the frown would be covered when viewing this helmet from the outside. I hope this is helpful for you Brad ---------------- Whether this is the inside of the set for stun helmet that Matt posted i dont know.
  8. well spotted Alain, or not as the case may be
  9. Depending on your timeframe runnriottt will be making green lenses at a much lower cost soon, and another member (sorry cant for the life of me remember who) was making sets. Someone will prob chime in on this to correct me
  10. Very interesting, thanks for sharing
  11. I think i know here you mean Brad be sure to post up some pics. This is where i would cut it if i did it again, the line is a little faint but you get the idea.
  12. I think you will have more luck using adhesive to attach the foam Sorry i could'nt resist.....
  13. I just throw my armour into this tub, all fits exept the helmet
  14. Here's the inside of an esb lid, maybe Jez can give us more info on this ( pics taken from his site )
  15. Very, very nice indeed
  16. So your saying Matt that the green lense material was wide enough to cover both the eyes and the frown all in one piece?
  17. As far as i remember the originals had nowt behind the holes.
  18. Just trying to make the fx kit a little better looking while i save up for a new suit in the new year. I have just bought some smaller better looking handplates, so added straps to those. Also lowered the ammo pack on the thigh just a tad. I also cut the bicep's to be more like what we see on screen. And i wanted to remove the screws holding the shoulder straps on but will do that another day i think. Oh and i need to lower the back section to cover my butt more me thinks..
  19. Nice i look forward to seeing the rest of your armour come together.
  20. Hey Graham you've done a real nice job on those legs, i too have been tweaking my armour today
  21. kiyotei i have fx atm, but i wish i had cut my ab another 2 inches higher where the detail parts finish about 1 inch under the buttons. I dont really know what the ap armour looks like can you post a pic of just the ab plate?
  22. Nice job finishing your utlilty belt Nathan, a job well done
  23. I cut my cod as i was building my suit up and it is a great help for sitting down, however i wish i had cut it higher up. I may look at getting another ab plate to do this at some point.
  24. The only advice i will give for cutting the cod is make sure it will be hiden by the belt so it will not be visible. For the butt part i think most armour will have a seam line for you to follow, here's where i cut mine.
  25. Its a shame they didnt get supplied with Ewok repellant though
