I just toss all my armour inc sound system boots firearm in this tub and carry helmet seperately. The only time my armour has seen bubble wrap was when it was shipped to me

Tanks Scott for clearing that up, but my problem is that for esb apparently no counter is required and i dont fancy trying to cut off what is a small sad excuse for the counter that appears on these hasbro guns.

Hey your doing great, reading your list of things to do you seem to be pretty much on top of things. The only thing i would say would be to change the elastic going under your arm for the shoulder bell to black from white. And to stop them rotating backwards maybe attatch them further forward along the shoulder bridge.

Ok these are my thought on the subject; Since the day i got my armour i have tried to make it as accurate looking as i can. I am an FX wearer until i hopefully get some new stuff later this year. Anyway back to what i have now. I have never had black buttons on my ab plate, i painted mine the correct colours from the start. I have since replaced them with smaller versions. I always wear rubber gloves and made a canvas belt from the start. In more recent times to go even further i have bought several more accurate hand plates, in both anh and esb style. I changed the shoulder bells to that of a more accurate shape and appearance. I have 2 new lids my esb style AP and a TE2 waiting for the right weather for paint then that will be anh style. I split the butt and back when building my kit but have just lowered it by more than 2 inches to cover my bum more and have even bought a new ab plate, which i modded by cutting the cod higher up added 2 inches in between to make my belt go round my waist not my hips. I also cut the inner bicep parts square not rounded like the fx was. I even made another belt and scratch built a holster just to be esb like as my first holster is riveted to the inside ala anh... It seems the only thing keeping me out is my blaster. I have a converted hasbro which is a toy but at the end of the day doesnt look anything like it did when i bought it. IMHO it should be the armour that is upto scratch and as long as you have a decent looking blaster whether the E-11 or SE-14R or whatever that should be good enough. I dont want to belittle what exellant work other guys have put into their elite trooper costumes but if you want more in maybe things need adjusting. I need new tyres on my blade and to insure my car before i spend money an a blaster upgrade. I geuss i will have to wait longer for that status. Keep up the good work guys, im off to make some belts

To be honest im not even going to try and get the counter off of this hasbro blaster, it just not worth the hassle. Ive used the conversion kit to make it look more like an E-11. I'll just leave this as it is, maybe i'll pull those greeblies off

These are great pics. I always thought there was a trooper in the tantive boarding scene with no brow trim. Its hard to make out freeze framing the dvd but this looks to be the feller, cool

Ive been wearing caboots over the last year and dont think they are uncomfortable at all. I have recently put in an inner sole as they are sized slightly big in my experience and i wanted a snugger fit.

You should hang your head in shame and to repent your sins pack it away again only this time send it to me Seriously though i think a new lick of paint and it will be like new, get painting

Ok cool guys thanks for the tips. So i looked at the elite standards for esb and regards to the blaster. It says no ammo counter, how does the hasbro blaster hold up here? I would like to get a much more accurate blaster for my costume but the gun and toy laws here are a joke, you cant have anything remotely accurate looking without fear of prosecution.....

With my lid nearly finished ESB style i have been working on my armour trying to get it upto elite standards. And it seems that the ESB trooper is not getting much love here either. But i like being a bit different... Ok here are some pics, i need to know what needs doing for ESB elite. Helmet; green flat lenses, 4 teeth cut out, black frown and esb style decals Front and back gap closed ESB style hand guards and rubber gloves Canvas belt and correct ab buttons On my list to do; I will make another holster to loop over the belt. The new smaller ab buttons have really long stalks so when i put the armour on today they popped out as i havent glued them yet so reverted to my old bigger ones. I need to get some greeblies for my E-11 also.
