  1. Hi Craig , and thank you for your Centurion application! CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: All required photos have been submitted, and on behalf of the entire D.O. staff we are pleased to welcome you to the rank of CENTURION. Congratulations! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly; In this area we review observations made by your fellow troopers and the DO team. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armour. Note that we consider both text (CRL) and pictures (screen caps/reference images) when reviewing submissions. *************************************************** Here we have a couple of dressing issues noted by fellow troopers and that are common small oversights when putting on our armor and we don't have a handler near us. 1- Your right glove is not tucked in all the way and your TD is a bit angled . What I usually do when dressing alone is to tell a fellow trooper to help me to place the TD into the right position and make a fast check to be sure everything is in place. Reference Images Reference Images Looking close to your TD control panel , it looks like it has a small section of return edge or has a bit remaining plastic of the mold, you could trim it and add some E6000 to make it stay flatten. Reference Images *************************************************** Congratulations and welcome to the Centurion ranks Trooper !!!
  2. Hi Mark, great to see your Centurion app so soon. I'll be with you shortly.
  3. something like this.
  4. Congratulations Greg, looking forward for your advances. "Remember Measure twice or more, cut and glue just one." read the Crl and check the Gallery section for reference images.
  5. Sorry to hear that Monica, hoping for your recovery soon and our thoughts with you .
  6. Yeah!! Congratulations Joseph. !!! Keep on being a great helper, master and example of hard work for the Empire "Retreat, hell! We just got here."
  7. Hey Scott, great to know your surgery went well and good news with your belt. Take your time, we'll be here when you are ready.
  8. Yes, place it over the ab amor to see how it looks and trim as needed leaving a short edge, as you can see it doesn't cover the ridged section.
  9. Congratulations Trooper !! Welcome to the Legion. Enjoy being a Bad Guy Doing Good!!!!
  10. Hi, a couple of references for your Ab buttons,
  11. Welcome to FISD Dylan!! We are here to help.
  12. Hi Trooper, thank you for the fast update. well done!! Looking at your ab belt position, I noticed that it is sitting lower than the required for Centurion Level and will need to be addressed before moving on. The L3 CRL states: The top of the ABS ammo belt should sit at or just above the bottom of the central and vertical abdomen button panels. Reference Images A common and practical solution for this is to add a couple small strips of velcro to the front of the ab armor to keep the belt from sagging. Thank you
  13. Hi Craig, could you pleas update the following photos please? 1-The internal strapping photo . the one you posted (below), is the same of your EIB app and still shows the han Snap and AB/kidney rivets in the wrong position. 2- The Sniper knee (both sides straighter as the one from your EIB shown) ? Thanks.
  14. Hi Craig, good work with those fixes. I'll be the D.O. making your review. I'll be with you shortly .
  15. Hi Romain, welcome to FISD. I would like to recommend this section about Various Types of Armor . It can give some path. Cheers

  21. Hi Mark, and thank you for your EIB application! CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All required photos have been submitted, and on behalf of the entire D.O. staff we are pleased to welcome you to the rank of Expert Infantry. *************************************************** I followed your Building Thread till your pre approval submission and let me say you did an awesome work with your build . Let's start with the Helmet. We are suggesting to clean up a bit your vocoder to reflect the more accuracy the the screen used helmet. This is an easy fix ! Reference Images *************************************************** Centurion Requirements; In this section we prepare you for Centurion. Because Centurion photos show more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Centurion might be seen there and not here and additional photos may be required. We try to point out all that we can from what we see, but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. This could be just a dressing issue or a hot bath need, but your left shoulder bridge seems is not quite centered to the backplate, also there is a little "curl" of elastic showing, just something to consider every time you suit up. . Reference Images CRL L3: Ideally there no gap between the abdomen and kidney armor. Abdominal and Kidney Plate align horizontally at top Looking closely to your ab to kidney connection, we noticed that the kidney plate protrudes a bit from the ab plate and causes a noticeable gap on the left side, this could be just a simple strapping adjustment. Reference Images CRl L3: The top of the ABS ammo belt should sit at or just above the bottom of the central and vertical abdomen button panels. It would be necessary to raise your AB belt a bit to achieve the L3 requirement , in your case it seems that you already have a Velcro piece on the abdominal plate so it is easy to adjust. Reference Images Finally , your E11 Blaster. Your your cocking lever is silver color and these are normally black , a little silver (weathering) is ok, as you can see in the reference images. Just a simple detail and easy to fix in a quick painting session. Reference Images Congratulations again and looking forward for your Centurion submission soon. Well done Trooper !!! ***************************************************
  22. Hi Alex, and thank you for your Centurion application! CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All required photos have been submitted, and on behalf of the entire D.O. staff we are pleased to welcome you to the rank of Centurion. Congratulations! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly; In this area we review observations made by your fellow troopers and the DO team. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. Note that we consider both text (CRL) and pictures (screen caps/reference images) when reviewing submissions. Looking in detail to your armor we found that there are some areas that you can improve to look your best at Centurion Level. You can reshape the paint on your vocoder a bit to bring it closer to the screen used ones . Reference Images As it was suggested by fellow troopers , your left shoulder bridge is at different height of the right one, one possible solution could be a hot water bath to bend it down to stay at same level. Reference Images In your first set of photos , your TD control panel is correctly aligned while in the second set, you have used the one from your EIB submission and it has better gaps between the end caps but not as rotated or lowered as the first one. You can see the difference. We suggest to make the changes to match the references not only the control panel but lowering the TD to the Canvas belt level as the references. First set of photos Second set of photos Reference Images It seems that your thighs could be adjusted a bit in the area going towards the knees so they seems less wide there. Reference Images
