  1. Welcome aboard ! The only experience I have had with Fiber Glass armor is to see other trooper's one and let me say that IMO it looks too rigid for movements and for adjustments. ABS on the contrary is easy to work with (trim, glue etc) Good luck a this index can be useful for you.
  2. Congratulations Trooper!!! Welcome to the Legion !! If you haven't done yet, Remember to request Stormtrooper access and take a look to higher levels program !
  3. Hi Jim, great job with the adjustments, easy basic pass.
  4. Hi Antonio, That Republic commando looks nice but although we like them , our specialty are the shine white Imperial stormtroopers . I would recommend to reach for your unit GML directly first. At the end of the day it will be up to your GML (garrison membership liaison) as they are the ones looking after costume approval. Also you can contact the Clone Troopers forum to receive some better feedback https://501stclonetroopers.com/ Good luck.
  5. Hi Matt, and thank you for your Centurion application! CRL and CENTURION Application Requirements: All required photos have been submitted, and on behalf of the entire D.O. staff we are pleased to welcome you to the rank of CENTURION. Congratulations! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly; In this area we review observations made by your fellow troopers and the DO team. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor, and please keep in mind that we consider both text (CRL) and pictures (screen caps/reference images) when reviewing submissions. You did a great job on the requested fixes Trooper, Well done!. We noted just a few extra details when making your review. Your helmet's right ear lower screw looks to be a little higher positioned than we normally see in the screen. Reference Images As a suggestion to get the very best TK shape , you could consider some Tab or even a bit more, magnets system to your side closures (mainly to the right side where we noted the AB plate overlapping the kidney. ) Reference Images AB TABS CLOSURE SYSTEM MAGNETS Just a suiting up detail here Matt, This not an real L3 issue, but the TD is cocked at an angle and the right TD clip is not pushed down all the way. Since we can't put our own TDs on, every time someone help you to put on the TD you may want to check your handler to aim for a more vertical appearance Finally , a very fine detail is the inner angle of your sniper knee (right side) , just a minute with sandpaper will do the trick. Reference Images That's all . Congratulations for reaching Centurion Level Trooper!!!
  6. Congratulations Trooper Welcome to the Legion You can request Stormtrooper Access bellow to see more forum sections.
  7. Congrats ! looking forward for your advances !
  8. Congratulations Jonas. Awesome building thread. Well done
  9. Hi Matt, great to see your Centurion App. You're on the line now. I'll be with you as soon as possible.
  10. Amazing!! Great master piece Joseph.
  11. Hi Jan and welcome to FISD. Regarding your question, a recent change to the ANH Hero CRL for Level 2 clarifies better this point : CRL L2: Correct Aerators/Hovi-MIX tips are present. Screens used shall be of a wide type mesh. The rim of the mic may be weathered, and the inside raised area painted white. Interior sides shall be painted black, mesh can also be painted black. According to that: - You can use the rim of the mic painted black or weathered - The inside raised area (not all inside) must be painted white References
  12. Hi Arief and Welcome to FISD. Glad to read you're on your armor build again !!! If you haven't done yet, open a Building Thread HERE , post photos of your advances , make all questions and receive feedback and tips from the very experts here . Take a look to this super helpful Index. Remember "Measure twice, cut and glue just once". We are here to Help.
  13. Shortening the upper ab straps would do the job .
  14. If I may, you can do the mobility cuts whenever you want, just take care to do not pass the ridges CRL for Level 3 states: Any mobility cuts on the back do not extend beyond the top of the raised ridge.
  15. Welcome aboard Burn. Research is the clue, take a look to this thread about Stormtrooper Armor. and let us know how we can help. And this useful index Good luck
  16. Congratulations for you new family member Caleb!! Great to see you're on the way . Step by step you'll reach the finish line brother. Looking forward for your advances.
  17. Congratulations Trooper!!! Welcome to EIB ranks.
  18. Welcome to the Legion Trooper Congratulations!!
  19. Great Work ! Congratulations
  20. Hey that tube strips look great . The vocoder paint job looks good , just a little refine in a couple of spots as per the crl for basic. The side view photos have too low resolution so I couldn't see in detail. Frown is painted gray and does not leave the teeth area May be my eyes but it looks like there are some pencil lines or white marks on your vocoder? The hovi tips should go white inside and the rims. keep on doing a great work trooper!
  21. BTW you're in the Helmet painting process Consider the crl for higher levels - Ideally, the tube stripes are positioned approximately a pencil width from the side of the cheek. - Fall of tube stripe tops ideally lean toward the front. - Correct Aerators/Hovi-MIX tips are present. Screens used shall be of a wide type mesh, with the rim of the mic and the inside white or painted white. Some references
  22. The bicep looks ok to me . for the Frown and vocoder it would be great if you can post a closer photo and front angle like below
  23. Great to read of your advances Carter, looking forward for the photos.
