Are they screwed in? Once you get the screws in the bottoms you should be good Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

As for the armor there is a getting started section with all the armor makers. They are all very good. And have you found your local 501st garrison? They can help you get familiar with people in your area if your planning on joining the 501st. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I don’t have experience with ordering but having built armor I don’t see any issues if you error on the side of caution and it’s a bit bigger the difference your looking at is easily fixable with foam if needed, but I honestly don’t think you will. If you go small some pieces might not fit right but again something that can be fixed with a bit more work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Great job on everything. And the reinforcement idea was a great addition. People should start doing this right from the start as a precaution. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I went through a few pairs of decals and a masking templet. It’s a pain. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I got my kids from Ikea, took forever to put them together, so many parts, but my wife did most of the work. Build is looking good. Hoping you eventually have a speedy recovery and as you’ve already found out don’t rush the recovery. Had a friend that did, he wasn’t a happy camper when it all came undone. I can see them! Question... Are your forearms too loose? It could be an optical illusion, but they look a bit big. I don’t think it’s an issue just maybe a comfort thing if they were a bit tighter. Also are your ab buttons scratched? Or is that an illusion as well? I also agree with the shin comment which you already took care of. Other then that, if your getting ready for submission pics I’d lift the belt a bit and rotate the legs so they line up a tad more (I speak from experience, I was dinged for it). These are just my opinions. You did an amazing job on this kit be proud. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This is what I did. I found it to be helpful on the thigh. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Post up some pics if you have them. Return edge on the thighs can go if you want, also I cut the back of the thighs on the bottom for mobility. You can also take some off the entire top of the thighs to make it higher or take some off the bottom of the shins to make that lower. Doing it in little pieces will be time consuming but the safest way so you don’t go too far. We’ve all been there with some pics we can help out a bit more. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

You might want to look into different image hosting. It took a while to get them downloaded on the site your using but I did. You are correct in where you have it all marked out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Freduster's ANH Stunt TK build (RS Props, aiming for Centurion)
Frank75139 replied to Freduster's topic in ANH Build Threads
I coated mine after it was together. It was a bit more difficult with lenses, bolts and what not. If I could do it again I’d do it before hand and let it dry. I think it’ll be easier in the long run. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Hydraken’s ANH stunt build AM 2.0

I used the foam brush as well. It’s not perfect but honestly nobody will ever see it. Try another coat and that’ll help a bit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I’ll leave the question about shortening the front to the more experienced builders on the best way to go at it. As for the rouge blemishes, I’d stay away from acetone. I’ve used it in small doses on my armor but with plastics varying in thickness, I’d be afraid of something going wrong. I’d go with the polishing get some novus polish if possible. If it’s small I’ve also used a bit of paint, let it dry a bit then while it off. It leaves a small amount of white on the undercoat but wipes off the excess. It’s still visible but not as much. Moving fast. As for the mounting. I haven’t done it but I’ve seen most people use the sugru. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
