I have my thighs strapped to the ab, and it pulls the ab plate down after a bit of trooping. Made the ab come down too far and there was a gap at the chest so I’m currently reworking it. I did it because I too have the issue with the belt slipping. I used suspenders with the belt but the belt tends to get crumpled up and once it slipped out of the suspender. I’m thinking maybe a thicker belt with the suspenders. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I made a pocket a bit bigger then my phone and velcroed it to the inside of my chest plate. It’s not completely accessible cause I can’t really reach it with my armor on, but it’s there. Other stuff I leave in my bin. Haven’t had a situation yet where I felt it to be unsafe. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hmmm I had the complete opposite issue so I’m not much help. Who is the maker of the armor? My only suggestion would be is to make it smaller where it looks good then pack the inside with foam to keep it all in place. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Remove the rivits, use an ABS piece on the inside and fill the hole with ABS paste then remount the rivits. I’m not sure if the garrison would deny you but I assume it would. What do I know, best bet is to reach out to your garrison and see what they say. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I remembered seeing you did it already sorry I wasn’t specific enough, was focusing on the question at hand. Personally I found it uncomfortable. Not sure if it was a size thing as I’m 240 pounds or what but in test fittings around the house it bothered me and I figured if it did then it would when I was trooping for 4 hours. With that said I think it helps make the armor look thicker but I also think it’s an extra seam that could start to crack. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
