  1. Great news. Agree that’s odd but at least they approved you with and then told you to fix it instead of fix it and resubmit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. That’s pretty amazing. Great job on the shading. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I’m not even done my second (which is a biker scout) and already planning a third. Kids think it’s awesome, wife thinks I may need to slow down a bit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. That’s awesome! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  6. Luckily your not in a hurry Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I placed some on a paper towel and used it to wipe paint off my AM helmet several times and had no issues. I’ve actually used it to take a few scrapes off the armor as well. But I mean a little bit on a paper towel. Don’t go too much and don’t let it sit on the plastic, quick wipes nothing left behind. It’s NOT something to mess with, it will melt plastic if it’s in direct contact. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. BBB day!!!!!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Maybe do a test run in pencil to see how it looks so you don’t have to worry about removing paint. From there you can paint over the pencil. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. This sounds like it’s a lot of hassle, why don’t you just send me the helmet and that way you won’t have to deal with it.... huh? Good idea? I like it.... I tried.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Welcome! You made the right choice, stay clean! Do a TK and then a TD that way when your TK gets dirty you can make it a TD. Or like most of us here when you do your first build you’ll want to do more so then you can make a TD and have both. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Trust me E6000 for your first build you’ll be thankful later. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I would say look into a generic (no team) display case for a football helmet. Might fit in there perfectly. Then you can put it wherever you want people to see it. Preferable away from a window. I’d imagine UV would fade it eventually. I know Michaels Crafts has some in their stores or online somewhere. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. No where on the CRL does it mention that specific area so I can’t see how it can hold you up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I left mine long. Guess it’s not a big deal not like anyone looks under there. I used it as support for my strapping under there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Get a display case and display it. If you need to get signatures just be super careful with it when you travel. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. It’s not a race we’ll all be here to watch Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. To answer the question. I don’t think anyone has tried what your attempting. I am certainly interested in seeing if it works out. If you have the stuff and the know how why not try it out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I’ve got both nomex and rubber. I kinda see what others are wearing and go with the flow so it looks a bit more uniform. Nobody I’ve trooped with yet has worn the rubber gloves so it’s been all nomex. I also have small gloves for under the rubber gloves. They are white jewelers gloves. Small cotton gloves. They don’t cost much so if they get bad I can toss them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. After you reach that then you’ll be wanting to do another project. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I think it’s looking great. And don’t worry about the pics for here just make sure when you do garrison submission pics you have plenty of light. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I think it’s varies by maker, I wear mine over the shirt. If it works better under use keep it under. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Out of curiosity did your friend pull the trigger on this or wait it out? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. First off great start. Secondly, any brown box is better then no brown box. And third, I don’t think your ok with it at all... Lastly I’m not a thin armed person but I know Amazon has some options that are less expensive, maybe go a size smaller? It’s always returnable. The catsuit is a good idea never thought about that. 25. Interesting idea with the nails. I’ll have to remember that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
