  1. Yeah, ignore me. I don’t know Anovos from my a$$.
  2. Ah, very well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Also, don't worry about the space around the wrist - once your gloves are on, the gap is not nearly as noticeable. A little extra room is far better than too little.
  4. As Mario mentioned, you can trim away the return edge - that will give you extra room. Keep in mind that the coverstrip does not need to be 15mm You can make it a bit thicker if need be for the size of your arms. You are larger than the 5'10" 160lb actors used in the original movies - so wider coverstrips will easily look proportional on you. Good luck with the build!
  5. I'm having trouble making out the details in the picture, but from what I can tell, yeah... I would adjust the coverstrips to cover more of the raised part. Maybe take a close up picture and post before you start to pull things apart. The tricky part is that you don't want the coverstrips to be too wide. 20mm is getting a bit wide, but if you are a bigger guy then it will look proportional on you. I'm a bit smaller, so what I ended up doing is splitting the difference - I made my coverstrips about 17mm wide and had about a mm of the raised area showing on either side. If you do go with the 20mm coverstrips, keep in mind that your thigh and front shin coverstrips will need to be wider than 20mm to keep the proportions right.
  6. Looks good to me. Can't tell for sure from the picture, but be sure the coverstrip covers the entire raised area. Just in case you didn't notice - Mark's cover strip material has a "good" side and a "bad" side. One side is more glossy than the other. Also, be sure to rough up the gluing surfaces with some sandpaper - it helps the E6000 hold. Keep up the good work!
  7. Impressive. Most impressive. I sure like the look of a painted bucket.
  8. Here are some images of frowns for reference. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Congrats on BBB day! AP is a great kit. Hopefully you are aiming for higher level approval. It is easiest to do from the get go and the AP kit makes it pretty easy. Post your progress pics and ask plenty of questions. Good luck.
  10. I think as long as the trim is "s" shaped you should be ok for upper level approval - hopefully a DO can chime in. As for the back of the legs - you can remove some of the return edge on both the shins and thighs. However, based on the pictures above, you leg pieces look a little long for you - you may need to trim a bit off the bottom of the shins or the top of the thighs. If you do trim the top of your thighs, be sure to double check that they can be pulled up further - a lot of people size their thighs too small to pull up (I should know, I've done it twice). Good luck! Keep up the good work!
  11. Welcome fellow trooper and congrats!
  12. Congratulations, Trooper!
  13. Welcome Josh! For pictures, I use tapatalk. You can upload to the forum directly from your phone. To be honest, imgur annoys me - but it could be my lack of tech savy-ness. Anyway, yes - once you get the images thing sorted out, post lots of pics and we will do our best to steer you in the right direction. Good luck with the build!
  14. Congrats trooper!
  15. Well said. Oh man, I know that feeling. Looking good.
  16. Good to hear you are getting started! If you have not already seen it, check out ukswrath's thread for his Anovos build. It's very detailed. Good luck. Be sure to post lots of pics and ask tons of questions, PS, yeah, you are in the right place for build threads. I think he meant that if you request 501st member access, you will be privy to even more threads.
  17. I have a little piece of industrial strength Velcro attached to the top front of the boot with the soft Velcro side attached to the inside of my shin. Holds everything nicely in place.
  18. Congrats and welcome to the Legion!
  19. Looking good, trooper! Congrats!
  20. Have you tried this?
  21. Great to hear you are going for Centurion! You have been given some great reading material in the links above. Once you have had a chance to go through that, be sure to start a build thread with lots of pictures and questions. We are here to help. Good luck!
  22. Top notch work and I now want an ultrasonic cutter.
  23. Congrats on the purchase! Now the fun begins. Be sure to start a build thread and ask lots of questions. Good luck!
