  1. The pics no doubt show the new Anovos helmet. Like Mr Timberwoof said: If the price is right for you and you feel the seller is to be trusted. You can however get pretty much any helmet you want for that price. Anovos is good but if it were me I´d rather go with the RS or TM helmet - But at that price they will be in kit form though to build yourself. Your choice of course
  2. Under those ears maybe?
  3. Ahh gotcha! Thought that maybe you`ve gotten a PM or otherwise heard it wasn`t allowed for some reason - thanks
  4. Vocoder came out nothing short but awesome The other stuff I find it hard to tell at such close ups but I´m sure you did fine
  5. You can cut from the inside, or use a tin snip or lexan scissors and here`s a Canon pic for reference (the RS suit)
  6. Is the first pic showing the wrist end? If so that should be completely removed, much more comfortable AND as a bonus a Centurion requriment
  7. Congratulations Dave and welcome to the ranks You did great on your build and now onwards to Centurion Hope you don`t mind Dave but also wanted to congratulate Dan @CableGuy on first EIB review
  8. Any reason as to why you didn`t end up gluing them?
  9. Awesome! Happy BBB-day It sounds like you`re all set for a great ride and by following Tonys build, well then, Centurion is the only possible outcome
  10. Looks great
  11. Yeah those look really hard to snap in unless you have alot of space in there, so I would go with just the top one as the belt holds the rest, I know some feel that the belt should be non supportive but I never got that, you have the belt so might as well use it is my take on that matter If the side shifts up and down then a tab `n slot works wonders Didn`t need it for any of my TKs but installed one on the TD to be on the safe side as I figured the side pouches and Field Pack could knock things out of allignement and everything is super-secure now
  12. Hey You do so by using the link in the second post from the top. The Racing shirts are done in waves and there is no wave planned at the moment, Keep checkin in and be sure to read the newsletters to be up to date when the next run goes live.
  13. Awesome! Congrats on your Kit and time to rename this thread and get busy building
  14. Support brackets are in, they may be a tad to long but easy enough to cut of that should be the case, I would like to do some more work but it’s been far to late for some time now in this part of the galaxy so that’s it for now
  15. Phew! I was worried there for a second when I wasn’t sure what you meant
  16. After some cutting, hamering and bending and rebending I have my shoulder supports, gonna glue them in and then glue the abs tabs on.
  17. You mean like this, if so I found that out too when wanting it to sit tight but I have snaps under the aluminium so figured that was the reason and I bent the corners in some
  18. I think this will work The TD is painted so that’s why the color differ
  19. Well I set of to work on the bells but like many other times I shifted gear and decided to fix the mounting for the TD. Most I’ve seem use a ABS support but I”m using aluminium, had a piece in order to make the shoulder brackets as per Tonys build (if you don’t know who I mean your on your own) but then changed my mind and was going with Q:s ABS method (same applies here) but now I might do a hybrid between the two...but more on that later, it’s TD time: I cut a piece that I thought would do the job I also made sure it would fit between the suspenders, they are actually some strechers for bed linnen or something (my wife knows, I got them from her) Yeah the magnets are a mess in there... Then I snipped the corners and did some sanding Figured this was enough for a good bend Draw a line from the outside, put it in a wise and bend The final bend you can do with your grip and feel YEAH! I’m powefull!! After that display of power it was time to glue, mixning it on the plate itself The bend came out a bit crooked but all that matters, unless you have severe OCD which is fine, is to have the top straight. Now onto shoulders...after I’ve taken care of some laundry, Yepp using a work perk isn’t always a joy, I’m also washing the vests from gym-class and they stink
  20. I’ll report back after I took it to battle Sir
  21. Same happened to me but I kept trying and all of a sudden I could log on with my old password. Don’t now what worked but I tried all the variations on rebooting, clearing cache and so on. Hope it works out soon.
  22. Awesome work on that stock, just amazing how you made look like wood And I can’t see your pics on MEPD but here it’s fine so congratz on getting your Field Pack
  23. You could ask if he would be willing to split it and sell the helmet seperately, I can’t be sure but don’t think you will have a problem selling the kit and on that note do you have price in mind for the helmet kit?
  24. When lining up the ab to the kidney you do so at the top only and discard any eventual "mismatch" at the bottom and the belt will also hide it. Here`s some screen used suits for reference and you can also see they left the return edge. The angle is a bit off on this one but you can still see that the top is what matters And finally I include pics of my RS kit wich is an exact replica of a screen used suit so it might as well just been picked from the set so although one should be hesitate when people are showing their own armor when helping you can trust me on this. This will show much clearer and I will also include pics of an Anovos kit I just did for my son and that is a scan of a suit from the Lucas archives so it`s safe to say it`s screen accurate. One can also see it match the RS kit.
