  1. That`s because you normally don`t and you getting AP means you don`t have to either
  2. Todays collective work. That bionic arm didn`t chip in one bit.... So...what did I do - Sanded both biceps, they are now ready for paint and might switch to glue them shut...such a turncoat Also finished of sanding the ab/kidney section, next will be the ab boxes. And I remodeled the right forearm just like the left and added back to the odd looking cut-out with some abs scraps and pasted the lot. Right arm Before: glad I didn`t stick with that.
  3. Thanks Zac - you and me both
  4. Yeah that built in "flaw" turned out great if i can say so myself And thanks, looking forward seeing your build as it unfolds
  5. Correct and if you already are a 501st member you should request member status
  6. Here you go https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/30456-how-to-join-the-501st-legion-as-an-imperial-stormtrooper-tk/
  7. I say leave it for now and do some more walking and see how it is, you can always remove more later if needs be - looks great
  8. Just paint them black and you are golden
  9. Looks like a Stormtrooper leg to me
  10. I use the hooks as it`s screen accurate and it works really well but plenty use the velcro and happy with that
  11. If that is the smallest you can go then that`s what you`ll do Just made the suggestion based on the pics and to me it looked like there might be some room based on the front...but if there`s not then that`s fine as it is Question: would a 20-22mm cover strip hide most of the flat area on the front?
  12. I would try and taper it more around the boot, otherwise you start gluing the cover strips
  13. Forearms good to go A suggestion for the helmet would be to move those tube stripes up to be a pencil width from the cheek, see ref pic
  14. Haha yeah I had the same feeling for it, endless sanding anyway so might as well ad some more And thanks
  15. Easy - don`t let people grab it Kidding aside there`s no need for any protection, you would have to be pretty forceful to rub that off
  16. No turning back now Making cutline #2 Cut made Checking..this could work And it did, glued an inner strip and it’s ready to be glued together, some abs paste and sanding and it will be ready for paint. Very pleased how it turned out, much better shape to it Before to the right and after to the left.
  17. So...The forearms are sort of "blocky" by default but I felt mine were like putting the arm in a brick so I started analyzing by looking att CRL, build pics and screen shots….and came up with that some modifications are in order. CRL pic: drew a straight line to show that there is equal amount of space between the line and the ridge You can also see it here, borrowed a pic from Tonys build (Anovos) that seam get filled later but it served as a great reference point to make my conclusion. One can also see that the ridge goes on straight all the way from the wrist to the top and no curve at the end like mine has (see black line below), it just gets "higher". Here`s mine, I drew alot of lines to help me decide but bottom line is that I will remove that blue section. Arrows point to the ridge I mentioned. Unless proven otherwise I feel this mod will make them more accurate and as a bonus provide some sizing options for those who choose to do the same. Or: I will have to buy new forearms - anyone got a spare??
  18. Looking good Dave Dan @CableGuy should get cracking in getting you approved
