  1. At the wrist you overlap the halves at the back untill the opening is just big enough to let your hand through, that will ensure a nice fit unless you have really big hands and smaller wrist, if that’s the case than you will have to settle with a bigger opening and maybe use some foam to get the fit right...either way is fine for approval and beyond. At the elbow as I said earlier you can keep it lose, a finger between the limb and armor is a good rule of thumb. Use the other parts as reference before glueing stuff up as you will want it to look proportional, I always have everything sized and checked in relation to the whole before I glue anything. When you have the sizeing to were you want it, mark the center of the overlap on both ends and you will have your trim lines
  2. Oh and I meant to say remove all inner return at the elbow too, not necessary but so much more comfortable
  3. Remove the return at the wrist completely then size that up so that you just barely can get your hand through would be my advise, the elbow end can be a bit looser
  4. Awesome! Happy BBB-day
  5. Yepp, same here
  6. This one has fiberglass in it and is just superstrong, I have flexed the ab/kidney section quite rigorously and all is good. I did however glue wide inner strips with plastic weld so that might be a factor, not putting much of a strain on the seam itself….I guess time will tell
  7. Haven`t really put it to the test yet and I also decided to use a stronger filler for the ab/kidney and that holds just great ("Plastic padding" it´s for autobody work). The biceps and forearms I´m using abs paste and I think it will be just fine as there`s not much flex in those pieces unless you go screen accurate and use velcro for the biceps and put them on/off by oppening them….for that reason I think I will glue them shut but I can do some flexing with them on my next session to see if they crack, don`t think they will though
  8. Yep, It’s just like Luc said - alligne the bottom of the bicep and if you feel like it trim the tops even or leave it as the bell hides it and for trimming - do so equally from both sides as you want the cover strip to be centered on the limbs. I’m sorry I can’t provide any pictures to clearly show you what I mean but my Imgur is acting up however check the approved Centurion apps in the advanced tactics section and you’ll see how the cover strips alligne on the individual piece but also in relation to the other limbs...bicep to forearm, thigh to shin. And the outer ridges should also alligne, bell, bicep, forearm. You’ll see that clearly on the side shots.
  9. That small white elastic is supposed to go around both the shoulder bridge and the main elastic thus keeping the bell more in place and keeping the shoulder bridge nicely over the back tab so try that
  10. Awesome! Congratulations and welcome to the Legion Trooper
  11. Okey...I know there`s a Troop log for this stuff but as a Sandtrooper I have one on MEPD - Tour of Duty - as it`s called. But as this was my first outing with the TD I´m still pumped and want to share This Troop also raised 2839 USD for Childrens cancer fund, A record amount for this particular event - Heroes Comic Con in Stockholm Sweden! Blurred the faces as I didn`t have the opportunity to ask permission, didn`t know we would get the pics for ourselves..kinda takes some of the momentum out but I guess you can imagine the facial expressions and if you don`t - they were priceless Especially on these three faces Just one more - we love pics right ACTION!
  12. Have you logged on to their boards? Might be some armor partys you could attend
  13. Awesome! Congratulations and welcome to the Legion Trooper
  14. Looks like we`re belt-buddies as well as Garrison Mine is TM but they seem to be equally familiar with screen accuracy

  19. Trooping my Sandtrooper for the first time. About to suit up and hit the floor again
  20. A bit hard to see but looks like there`s a cutline molded in? If so I would start there. Normal You can trim it or leave it - either way is fine
  21. Good call in taking a break if it`s not fun, because is should be And if I may, unless you`re just fed up with all things Stormtrooper at the moment, use the "down time" to read up on the many build threads, that will get you ahead of the game for when you get your mojo back
  22. Like Dan said you did great on the frown if you want you could extend the paint beyond that last tooth for even more awesomeness
  23. Nice work on those thighs
  24. Thanks, happy I made the change
