  1. Helmet in question, known as the "set for stun" or Dave M helmet Some helmet-goodies
  2. That particular helmet don’t have the last grey painted on that side. The last black is a hole but no screen behind as the originals didn’t have any screen behind the teeth Trivia: the number of cutouts varied between the helmets from a total of six to ten but it was decided to keep eight as the approvable standard for uniformity.
  3. Welcome to FISD and keep the pics coming
  4. Thanks for sharing your thoughts
  5. sorry for the hijack Mark
  6. Glen? Ehmn....
  7. Would be great if you could do a mini-turtorial on how to properly mount the AP sniper knee - when you have the time
  8. Whaaaaat!? hardly see anything wrong with them
  9. Looking good
  10. Ear looks perfect Not to be nagging but you really should
  11. Try Pauls suggestion on double-up on the elastic first and if that’s not enough (I think it will) You could also try and move the snap more forward. Keeping the small 5mm elastic on the bridge and not on the tabs on the backplate also helps in keeping the bigger white elastic from pulling out.
  12. Congratz on EIB Don’t give up on Centurion just yet, the shoulders should be possible to get closer, did you look into trimming them with a curve as I suggested earlier?
  13. I can´t be sure though but wanted to give a heads up
  14. The TFA/TLJ CRLs are under change so I wouldn’t be too sure that will still be the case afterwards.
  15. Great news about the blaster! Just need a few more photos and we can get started. # Action shot with blaster. # Interior strapping. # Photos showing the inside of cod rivet and posterior snaps.
  16. Hi Jayke, the ear is fine I would like to Echo Q and suggest you trim the corners of the eyes more and also see if you can tighten the screws on the ear to close the gap
  17. Aha...so X-wing pilot I take it? Although I can´t be sure as you said "friendly skies"...those rebels are far from friendly
  18. Howdy so...were’s the photo of said approved stepson
  19. I´m not trying to defend them but they took care of that with the line: Prototype depicted, subject to change.
  20. Hi For a nice fit you should just barely be able to slide your hand through without glove and handguard. Then put the glove on. If you’re going for Centurion the handguard is to be glued to the glove
  21. I think there´s a misunderstanding here, the dropboxes are to be located at the very end of the plastic portion of the ammobelt and is not beeing "judged" on actual location on a persons body nor if they hang straight down or somewhat at an agle. My illustration meant to move the dropbox to the egde of the ammobelt, not closer to your body.
  22. Hi again Brian and thank you for your EIB application. In this review I will ensure that your armor follows the requirements set out in the CRL L2 Expert Infantry Badge and also point out what I can to prepare you for Centurion, should you choose to apply. I hope you do! Let´s get started shall we! CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All required submission photos have been posted and I am very pleased to announce your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for ANH Stunt Expert Infantry. On behalf of myself and the entire D.O.Team, Congratulations! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. Note that we consider both text (CRL) and pictures (screen caps/reference images) when reviewing submissions As we navigate through this review we are going to start from the top and work our way down. Starting with the helmet we advise you revisit the decals as they are a bit "rough around the edges". We would like to point out that painting is always an option and like many experience, a very fulfilling one, totally your choice of course. Dropping down to the brow we fell that raising it would get you closer to that Epic Stunt-look we all know and love Moving on we noticed the right thigh as going rogue on you, maybe a strapping failure or some strategic foam should have this sorted to ensure you look sharp on every Troop. Last item on our suggestion list would be to trim the sniper knee for a cleaner look. Centurion Requirements: In this section we prepare you for Centurion. More photos may be requested in the future that allow us to make better decisions on possible adjustment etc. If there are any areas of concern they will be discussed here. Because Centurion photos show much more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Centurion might be seen there and not here. We try to point out all we can from what is seen but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. Below you will find areas that will need to be adressed for a future succesfull Centurion Application. Starting with the shoulders the CRL states that it should be a minimal gap between the bells and the chest and backplates and so we need you to close that gap. Removing more/all of the lower return edge and/or shorten the top strapping should get them closer. The undersuit seem to be interfering as well so that might also be worth looking into. Next up is the side closures and it varies between pictures which leeds us to belive that with some tighter strapping and beeing mindful when suiting up this should be sorted. Final item would be to enusre the dropboxes stay in place and a dab of glue is our go-to advice. And that´s it! Again congratulations and welcome to Expert Infantry Enjoy it for a while and see you at Centurion
  23. Didn’t mean you did anything wrong so apologies if it sounded that way. Perhaps I should have worded it differently. Just trying to locate the source.
  24. That image is incorrect, were did you get it from as we need to delete the source. This is how it should be: Screen used suit for reference:
