Hi Dave I looked over your build and noticed you are using an incorrect diagram. We really need to track down the origin and delete it. It should be like this: And including a reference form a screen used suit.

Lord_Potato's Walt's Trooper Factory ANH TK Build (COMPLETE)

Sniper knee and legs came out great -
It’s not - the belt is a major part of the costume and very visible unlike inner strapping methods. This is also for the higher levels of approval. The inner support in itself is not an issue. The issue with these belt is the fact that they don’t look the part. They are however still allowed. The belt is also a major part of the costume and not a specific detail of sorts. To clarify: with the changes to the CRL it was also pointed out that the text is only one part of the requirements, as it has been saying in the CRL ever since I joined a few years back. (And probably longer) Quote: Text descriptions are only one part of the guideline. GML's and costumers must consider both text and pictures (CRL and Reference) when reviewing the costume.

Hey Brian and Dan Like Dan said, nice job with the TD and although I have started the review is’s fine to include it because now there’s no question that it will pass. As for the belt, it’s not particularly accurate and there was discussion to exlude inner support but as of now we still allow it for Centurion (majority vote) Like Dan I also suggest you replace it with a multi-layered canvas belt, it makes a world of difference to the overall look and hopefully it would also be a better color match. I belive the outdoor photos makes it look worse than it actually is but I would still think about replacing it as many Troops are outdoors and of course for accuracy

mlarsen's ANH TK Build (AP trimmed kit)
TheSwede replied to mlarsen's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
That was s mishap when updating the CRL, the mobility cuts regarding the thighs have the same restrictions as the shins - not going past the raised ridges. We’re still waiting for it to be updated. -
Hi Brian and thank you for your EIB application, we do need some additional photos before we can start. # Cod rivet -outside. # Posterior snaps - outside. # thigh ammo pack fixings - inside (could only see one side). # Left/right side detail - arms raised. # Clear photo of the chest and back connection. Thanks

mlarsen's ANH TK Build (AP trimmed kit)
TheSwede replied to mlarsen's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
It will look alot better if you do. Your cover strips look a bit long at the top and just to mention the original suits snipped/rounded the corners - keep up the great work -
Hey Niclas and welcome to FISD You can´t go wrong with either RS or TM both are great! RS has the advantage of beeing made of an original screen used suit, not all the parts though as it wasn´t complete but the most important piece was present - the helmet. TM is by far the best fan sculpt so it´s basicly down to personal preference. My advice is going with 1.5mm as it´s more flexible and screen accurate, I like screen accuracy I have two TM´s, a Hero and a Stunt and an RS suit which I used for my Sandtrooper and an extra RS helmet I built as a Stunt replica so I have experience with both and just love them

TK-77677 Requesting ANH Stunt EIB Status [RWA] (933)
TheSwede replied to Wolfchen's topic in Request Expert Infantry Status
Hi again Ivaylo and thank you for your EIB application. In this review I will ensure that your armor follows the requirements set out in the CRL L2 Expert Infantry Badge and also point out what I can to prepare you for Centurion, should you choose to apply. I hope you do! Let´s get started shall we! CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All required submission photos have been posted and I am very pleased to announce your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for ANH Stunt Expert Infantry. On behalf of myself and the entire D.O.Team, Congratulations! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. Note that we consider both text (CRL) and pictures (screen caps/reference images) when reviewing submissions As we navigate through this review we are going to start from the top and work our way down. Starting with the button plates the smaller could be trimmed a bit more and we just want to mention that the corners were straight and not rounded and your buttons, although within boundries, are a tad big when compared to screen used armor in case screen accuracy is your thing, it sure is ours Moving on to the belt we recommend a light shave to stay sharp on Patrols. Another of those small things is that the TD clips just like the ab buttons were cut straight and the screws were placed more at the ends, that would also keep the clips more flush to the tube itself. Here we recommend to lower the right thigh to keep the gaps even. Centurion Requirements: In this section we prepare you for Centurion. More photos may be requested in the future that allow us to make better decisions on possible adjustment etc. If there are any areas of concern they will be discussed here. Because Centurion photos show much more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Centurion might be seen there and not here. We try to point out all we can from what is seen but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. Below you will find areas that will need to be adressed for a future succesfull Centurion Application. Starting with the helmet and the brow we usually leave it as a suggestion but yours is actually going below the eye sockets in the middle and need to be raised for a Stunt-look. However if a lower brow is what you prefer we don´t request you place it as indicated by the blue line but atleast keep it above the "eye-line". Next up we have the shoulders and by removing more of the lower return edge you should be able to close that gap more. The right shoulder bell also look to be slightly rotated to the front so we advise you do some trouble shooting, could be as easy as a simple dressing issue. Here we can se that the kidney overlaps the ab at the bottom and causes a gap at the top that needs to be closed. Some work with the strapping should have it sorted in no time. Moving on to the belt it should be raised just a tad for a clean Centurion look. A dab of glue should keep those dropboxes in the correct position - at the ends of the ammobelt. Last we have the sniper knee and the way this is trimmed is just to far from the originals to pass the Centurion level, It can´t be saved by trimming so we´re sorry but it needs to be replaced. And that´s it, apart from that sniper knee it´s a pretty straight forward road to Centurion. Congratulations again on beeing Expert Infantry -

That’s correct. You can do as Q suggested as well. Removing all is screen accurate (in most cases as they didn’t seem too particular in getting everything down to point) and it helps when forcing the Sniper knee into submission. -

Hi again Àngel and thank you for your EIB application. We start with the TD and as seen in the reference photo it should sit lower on the belt so just a heads up to push it down when suiting up. If possible we suggest you raise the thighs or lower the torso in order to try and reduce the amount of black showing. Moving on to the sniper knee, some light trimming and you´ll look the part for Lord Vaders inspections. Starting with the helmet and the ear bars it´s a really easy fix by adding some more paint. Next up we have the frown and we see that you trimmed a bit to much so we need you to make a batch of abs paste and fill it back. Moving on to the shoulders and shortening the elastic should rein those tops in. Next up we have the horizontal side allignment and it looks to be a simple dressing issue. Here we have the Han-snap and yours is placed to far in and we need you to move it OR simply trim were I indicated with that blue line, that way the sides would sit flush and the snap should get in the right location. That edge is the same as on the RS suit and should be trimmed anyways and with the shim you have the room for it. Nice work on said shims and just a heads up that for Centurion that seam needs to be hidden. Lastly we have the belt and raising it up a tad would make you a shoe-in for Centurion. And that´s it! Again congratulations on a job well done A few tweeks and some elbow grease and Centurion is around the corner -

Hi Ivaylo Just letting you know that I´m starting the review -
Hey Mark Sorry for the late reply but here´s how they look. If I remember correctly I think I thought the same as you that they looked a bit flat at first but when put together it worked out fine. Glad you found this build helpful, just take one step at the time and you´ll do fine and just ask if you`re wondering anything

Hi and thank you for your EIB application. Mario is correct, no decal is allowed and needs to be removed. We are going through several applications at the moment so there’s time for you to remove it and post new photos -
Nice work Just a little something, the end bend on your clips are the wrong way.
