  1. aah well ABS paste works magic...and a tip but I´m guessing you`re already done but if not, is to put the fixing in the putty the same time you put it in the helmet thus no need to drill.
  2. Seems like a great vacation
  3. Helmet looks great And can`t resist to ask, what did you do?
  4. Looking good
  5. I would try to go a wee bit shorter, you can still see that the strip comes over the ridge, going higher with the ammo-pack would hide it...but if you want it to butt-up to the cover strip I would cut some more, just be careful cutting to much - you got this
  6. Sounds like a plan
  7. Sorry to be bearer of bad news but cover strips are supposed to end at the ridges at the knee. Using E6000 makes it fairly easy to fix though - keep it up
  8. A good rule of thumb is that all the lims should be able to "float" on you, not to big and not to tight and for the arms - if you can bend and lift your arms to your head then all is good...my advise would be to try your range of motion with all the pieces and get them as small as possible, but that`s just what I did. EDIT: too small is not good either, then foam is a great way to fill up the suit. I forgot I´m 203lbs And it could be my eyes deciving me but that seems lika alot to cut from just one side?
  9. That depends on your body type - taller/bigger troopers usually have less bumps in the front, 5 bumps + the big one in the front is screen accurate
  10. Butt-flare is quite common, yours is hardly visible but a bath might make it perfect, just remember to try with belt on, butt tends to "pop out" more when you close the belt. The belt will most likely fix that. Some suggestions besides what you already said yourself is: IF you want to go for it - I Think it looks great as it is right now, you`ve done great work 1# Shorten the strapping between butt/kidney 2# Move it closer to the ends Last resort 3# Brackets and elastic create tension that will pull the armor right.
  11. Pics sent to GML - it`s HARD taking pictures on your own but on the upside there`s pics that you didn`t even know you took untill you are done Like this one: blooper/behind the scenes.. Some small tweeks to be done but overall I´m very pleased with my Stunt-kit from TM (troopermaster) and E11 from Imperial Warfighters
  12. Time to suit up!
  13. Having return edges isn`t mandatory and that goes for the entire armor, however they contribute of giving the armor a sence of thickness and if one plan on using screen accurate strapping they are almost a must in the torso, for higher levels of accuracy - Centurion - there can't be any on the wrist-ends of forearms...so it's about personal preference. My advise if you cut the neck line is to not make a new return unless you really want to, no one will see it anyways...and as Christine said, a bath and strapping will aid the butt-issue and adding on the thighs would make it less apparent...and one final note: check Christine aka Crickets thread on how she did her RS-kit - it's a great read
  14. Go with the reference they don't have to be perfect but they should be smaller than the "mounting plate".
  15. Congratulations and welcome to FISD
  16. Congratulations Trooper
  17. Way to start the New Year Happy holidays
  18. 2018 - the Year of the Stormtrooper
  19. The build is starting to come to an end and I'm already starting to miss this controlled chaos Final coverstrip is curing, ammo-knee and thigh elastic waiting to be installerade and then it's some trimming for comfort and TD to wrap this up - Happy New Year everyone
  20. Best of luck Trooper
  21. Looking great - good work
