1. Nah, something will come up. Just keep a close eye on the event signup pages and don't be afraid to ask if suitable events can be made inductions. We need more troopers!
2. Cool There's an event on 4th June in Alloa (SPRA day) - That was my induction troop previously - Maybe you could ask if this could be opened-up to new recruits?
3. You really think this thing will reach point five past light speed??
4. Ideal - post up a couple of photos of yourself in the Anovos to let Bill see what it'll look like
5. Have you glued the front cover strip in place yet? Ideally, you want to do that first, then size the forearm.
6. Bit of a stretch for the height but you can buy extended shin pieces, which add around 2" of coverage there. Some dressing tweaks, like maxing-out the shoulder bridge overlap, decreasing chest/ab overlap, etc, can help too. Only concern would be colour-matching any extended shins with your Avovos kit.
7. I tend to use 1"white elastic strip, glued under the crack with a little Stelmax 1985 glue
8. Cheapest will obviously be the one you can make yourself, from recycled material. An old leather couch, with nice, thick hide on it, would be ideal. I make my own but from thicker leather.
9. I use a large suitcase for the armour (clamshell like yours) and a seperate bag for helmet and the smaller bits.

Tried one of the 145l trunks from Homebase (Ā£15), and whilst EVERYTHING can fit in it, it takes up the whole back seat of the car, and is a pain to get up stairs.
10. Awesome, welcome aboard, trooper!
11. Ach, I know, but it'll save him time, having to re-take numerous pics etc, when Centurion calls.
12. I'll be at the May 5th Lego event. Maybe see you there In fact, if you want, now you're cleared, you may be allowed access to 'behind the scenes'.
13. You'll get 'branded' on the left shoulder bell, with the UKG decal, on your first troop. This decal isn't allowed when submitting EIB and Centurion photos here, so you can either remove it each time, to be subsequently rebranded or swap shoulder bells so the decal isn't on show. Do you have full access to the UKG events section? You'll also get into the closed ISS Facebook page, if you're on FB?
14. With the possible exception of latex hand guards (yours are ABS, are they?) You look pretty much there already! Just remember, if you get branded, you'll need to remove that or swap shoulder bells for EIB and Centurion approval
15. Well done on your clearance, mate - Hope to see you at a troop soon!
16. Depends on how frequent your troops are - Can be a pain getting everything on the mannequin, just to have to remove it again so you can wear it.
17. Hey Michael, RWA kit looking good, I just trooped for the first time in mine yesterday . Only things I can see, are possibly drop box alignment and side gap isn't even, but they're dressing issues. Oh, and you'll really need to remove the UKG decal, or swap shoulder bells for the pics
18. Buttons on ab look wrong colour; some strapping hanging down from crotch?; Boots look like they have stitching on front?; Sniper plate looks misaligned. Sorry, just looked on a higher res pic and saw more bits Don't let all those things get you down, though. First things first, get kitted-up, get your pics taken from all angles and upload to the UK site
19. I had a similar issue. I just cut out the coverstrip altogether, and the material it was glued to, then resized and reglued a new coverstrip on.
20. Hey, Keith, if you haven't already, join-up at ukgarrison.co.uk - That's where all new 501st recruits in the UK need to get cleared first. Start a WIP (work in progress) thread within the stormtrooper/sandtrooper section in armoury. You can upload pics of you standing - Front, back, sides and sides with arms raised, so the armourers can give you some advice. From what I can see, though, your shoulder bels will need brought round more to the front; you have 2 blasters? ; Not sure the eFX helmet is clearable; the bottom of thigh on right as you look at pic, will need some cover strip removing. But as I say, get yourself over to the UK site
21. Steven Honeywill is your man for a DLT-19 - awesome attention to detail
22. Thanks, Brian Yours is coming along nicely But if you need a hand with anything, gimme a shout.
23. Just what I was thinking. The neck trim looks very thin, too, and the colour match may be off, with the helmet kit being made of 2mm 'glossy' (acrylic capped?) material.
24. The Doopydoos resin kit makes for a really nice end product, especially if you go the extra mile and do some cheap, simple mods, like adding steel hex bolts, make a spring, inner barrel, etc. That would be my choice if it was for a display
