1. Don't think so, but you're the expert - This comparison pic I took of SDS shins (inner pair) and RWA extended shins (outer pair), might help?
2. He's based in the UK. Not sure what you mean about two inner pieces?
3. I'm still waiting on them sending me a sniper plate, which was missing from the delivery. Plus, they're shorter, so i'd have more black showing. When (if) the sniper plate turns up, i'll get kitted up again and see what they're like in comparison
4. Cheers

The shins are from RWA - Good colour match
5. Yep, the guys have said it all. Centurion straight off the bat is just as easy as basic
6. Both my last two kits were pretty much done within a week... I can't rest until they're done lol
7. Sorry, forgot the text This is my RS Celebration kit. Finished most of it last week but was waiting on some decals. Thankfully, a 501st colleague had a sheet to spare
8. As long as it's not the acetone-free version Yes, I stole some of my wife's for this purpose.
9. Not 100% required but most shoes have 'some sort' of coating, or finish. If this isn't removed - or at least roughed-up - then the white paint won't adhere very well and will flake easily. I know that's kinda screen accurate but - personally - I like nice white boots
10. Are you stripping the surface with steel wool and acetone?
11. 14 months? Wow! I've had my 1st TK cleared, converted a CfO TK to shock trooper, built a centurion RWA kit and almost finished an RS ESB kit in that time
I respect your patience
12. Yeh, a lot of work to get it up to scratch. (I got mine to EIB, and they can reach centurion, but I wouldn't do another SDS)
13. Done!
14. Elastic straps at rear of boot, connected to inside rear of shin.

I use velcro for shin attachment and snaps to loop the elastic through the rear tabs of boots.
15. This could be a contender
