1. Yup, my mum gave away all my Star Wars stuff after I moved out at 18... I was planning on picking it all up, until she cheerfully informed me that the two snotty-nosed kids from down the road were 'over the moon' with their new toys. I bet they were... X-wing TIE fighter Countless characters Scout bike AT-ST and on, and on...
2. That...is...gonna be copied
3. So you think "Star Wars". You have to think instantly, to,the one scene in your mind, that just personifies what Star Wars is to you. Mine would have to be that moment when the stormtroopers piled-in through the blasted-open door of the Tantive IV. I was hooked from that moment. Closely followed by the Hoth Battle. What's the one scene that springs to your mind?
4. A white tux with black shirt would be pretty cool
5. Looks great to me Only thing I can see is that the knee ammo pack seems to have slipped down a little?
6. Looks like a modded Rubies blaster... probably $20+ paint. You can do much better for the asking price tbh... Doopydoos resin kit, for example. They're not difficult to build. Honest
7. Oi, oi, he never signed mine!!

Looking good
8. Go shopping... especially for lunch (Non 501st event recently) ... or get your eyes tested... not that it'll make us shoot any better...
9. Cool. The UKG tends to follow a basic approval standard of something approximating level 2 on the CRL, so you may have a bit of work to do, unfortunately.
But as I said, don't get disheartened, just do one mod at a time and I'm sure you'll do OK.
10. Yeh you still need to do a WIP. Even though you've finished, there may be tweaks and changes needing done to achieve basic 501st approval. Don't get disheartened, though. I can see a few things they'll pick up on. Just had a look on UKG site... you'll need to have the photos appearing in the thread itself, rather than a list of links
11. Hi mate, you need to start a 'work in progress' or WIP, over on the UKG site. That's where you'll apply for basic approval
12. No probs. Other opinions are available I always check with someone when the lid is on, to make sure voice is clear and volume is good
13. Yep, gives that kind of radio sound. It just doesn't do the clicks or static bursts on its own but you can add that separately with app or rom fx, etc.
14. TKVoice is the app. I have the Aker MR1505 12w. Apparently the MR1506 10w is slimmer and easier to stow under the chest, although I find there's plenty of room for mine. Volume is only ever at about 1/3 anyway. Any more and it's way too loud or you get feedback issues. I just marked the 'sweet spot' on the volume dial with some white paint.
15. I only use an Aker voice amp behind chest piece and mic in helmet. You can add a smartphone and a TK voice app if you want, to keep costs down.
16. Does AP do extended shin pieces? These can add at least 2" to the length of the shins. Ideal for taller troopers
17. Proof of the pudding is in the eating, or so they say You've made a decision, based on what you have heard, what you've researched, etc and I wish you well with it. I'd love to see some really good, clear photos of the raw kit and kitted-up. Keep us updated on your progress
18. Yup, what he said. There's already at least one thread on the subject of the supplier mentioned in post #1
19. Could you PM me the ebay seller's details, please?
20. I don't envy you Where do you buy your E6000 from? I've heard there are fakes around?
21. Oops, yep, in spam folder (!) Sorry about that

Thanks for those. Looks like E6000 it is, then. What a waste of time putting all those plates on
22. No I didn't mate - I'll check spam folder
23. Did you use E6000 for the snap plates? I used CA glue AND Stelmax 1985 but they all just peeled right off
