  1. Hey Michael, RWA kit looking good, I just trooped for the first time in mine yesterday . Only things I can see, are possibly drop box alignment and side gap isn't even, but they're dressing issues. Oh, and you'll really need to remove the UKG decal, or swap shoulder bells for the pics
  2. Buttons on ab look wrong colour; some strapping hanging down from crotch?; Boots look like they have stitching on front?; Sniper plate looks misaligned. Sorry, just looked on a higher res pic and saw more bits Don't let all those things get you down, though. First things first, get kitted-up, get your pics taken from all angles and upload to the UK site
  3. I had a similar issue. I just cut out the coverstrip altogether, and the material it was glued to, then resized and reglued a new coverstrip on.
  4. Hey, Keith, if you haven't already, join-up at ukgarrison.co.uk - That's where all new 501st recruits in the UK need to get cleared first. Start a WIP (work in progress) thread within the stormtrooper/sandtrooper section in armoury. You can upload pics of you standing - Front, back, sides and sides with arms raised, so the armourers can give you some advice. From what I can see, though, your shoulder bels will need brought round more to the front; you have 2 blasters? ; Not sure the eFX helmet is clearable; the bottom of thigh on right as you look at pic, will need some cover strip removing. But as I say, get yourself over to the UK site
  5. Steven Honeywill is your man for a DLT-19 - awesome attention to detail
  6. Thanks, Brian Yours is coming along nicely But if you need a hand with anything, gimme a shout.
  7. Just what I was thinking. The neck trim looks very thin, too, and the colour match may be off, with the helmet kit being made of 2mm 'glossy' (acrylic capped?) material.
  8. The Doopydoos resin kit makes for a really nice end product, especially if you go the extra mile and do some cheap, simple mods, like adding steel hex bolts, make a spring, inner barrel, etc. That would be my choice if it was for a display
  9. Looking good, sir Quite possibly wins the prize for most uncomfortable cod/butt connection pics, though
  10. Hi, nice build Hope you don't mind but I like to practice my eagle eye on builds Here's what i've noticed: Drop boxes look a little low-slung Rivets on the side of kidney/ab need painted white Are those rivets on TD? They should be small, domed black slot head screws Inside of the hovi mic tips should be white.
  11. Having seen a couple of the Shepperton blasters up close, I wasn't very impressed. Well, not for the money. Lots of detail was missing, and some of the finishing left a lot to be desired. But as said, If the buyer is happy, that's all that matters
  12. This is wonderful My daughter was diagnosed with leukaemia in 2009, so all of this is very familiar to me. She's now a beautiful, positive soon-to-be 17 year old. People say they're brave kids. The reality, however, is that they simply have no choice in what fate has dealt them. They just deal with it. Proud to be associated with you troopers, well done I wish young Brodie and his family all the very best.
  13. They should be fine to straighten-up once, then bend back again. Unless they're not of a decent quality. You'll need to remove them anyway, so just have a go
  14. I think there have been a few of us in The UKG in a similar situation! Steep learning curve and a lot seems to have been packed into a year, like you say! And thank you
  15. 1. Mark 2. Bradley 3. 22700 4. A4 5. Tony Sorry guys, I totally mucked up this post by trying to edit it on my phone and it all went a bit pear-shaped... But anyway, I have my certificate. Thanks very much guys
  16. Awesomeness! Thank you! Yeh I don't know what's happening with the back gap. I might change the elastics for nylon strapping to hold it in place Thanks again!
  17. It's on your troop log, so it's your photo Doesn't matter who the subject is
  18. Honoring TK-91488 Preston ...GET SOME! Long live the empire! http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/38181-tk-91488-pretzel-troop-log/page-2?
